It's less redemption and going back to his roots that I respect. I honestly stopped watching him during Wano because I couldn't stand the raid fail theory. It was based on bias ideas that he wanted to happen instead of using story evidence & foreshadowing to create his theory. I don't care when theories are wrong, but when they're done from a biased perspective without real evidence I think they're pointless. Morj was always so good at this until Raid Fail entered his brain, then he just kept doubling down and I lost respect. About to binge all his recent videos again as they seem to be the style he used to deliver, that I enjoyed a lot.

The great flood could also be used as a way to hinder the mobility of devil fruit users by confining them to sparse pieces of land, controlling a possible threat to the world government.

100%, been a believer of this since we first started learning about the Redline.
    A few more tidbits:
The Redline's peaks are described as having distinctly seperate climates, similar to the islands of the world.
Oars was called the "Continent Puller", in a world of islands.
The whales of the world seem to follow a migration pattern set pre-Redline.
I suspect the Redline was a moon at one point, hence "Lunarians", and there is Fujitora's fruit capable of the feat (though Reverse Mountain might imply the land was raised up, instead of brought down, perhaps. Unless that was an attempt to return the once-moon to the skies..)

Pangaea is the name given to the supercontinent that existed more than 300 million years ago, and consisted of our current continents, all placed together. Representations of the continent actually look very similar to the diagram that Oda show's on Wano and that Morj also presents here in the video.

This would also support the theory that Laugh Tale is below the ocean, like under Ennies Lobby. Maybe the "final island" is the world-sized island.
It would also allow for an ending where the adventure doesn't end, but the story does.
AND it would explain why the devil fruit users can't handle the ocean. If the fruits come from the original flooded land, and the beings there, then their spirits - their "wills" might be weak to the ocean that killed them.
AND it would explain the fishmen and sea kings, as they would have been inhabitants from the real world that were promised to be saved by Joyboy with Noah, and survived and adapted to the ocean.

So multiple people likely lay claim to this theory. I posted it in a super chat on this channel around the time we hear that the lunarans lived on top of the red line. But I may have had some thoughts about it even earlier. But I can't be sure enough to say for sure I at least never shared my theory publicly until around than. But I remember thinking the red line is a different color land mass and I remember seeing all those moons or planets in the Ohara libary thing. So I believe I had some loose theories from further back. But the Queen line about Lunarians or whatever made me think about it more.
My idea is that maybe they never lived on the red line. That is a lie or misunderstanding as they actually lived on the moon or planet that used to exist.
Now it's possible that their moon or planet was stolen, destroyed and the members of their race went to live on top of it after wards as a way to cling to their origins or something. But I like to think that they never lived on the red line at all. Not in it's current state.
As for me saying it's my theory. I don't even believe that it's all that likely. I'm not trying to discredit anyone else claiming to come up with this theory first. However if it is true. I will try to research the earliest documented mention of this theory. See if any online forums posts or superchats predate mine. lol Again it does not matter. But 99% of my "theories" are heavily borrowed or not actually my theories and I openly admit that or credit those who I know came up with them. If I know. Usually I don't know. I actually think this makes a lot of sense because it could explain why shanks wants to go after the one piece. It's entirely possible oda was playing with the context and he's not going for it himself, he just knows Luffy is going to need his help when the time comes to take back the world that was stolen away by the world government. We have no reason to believe shanks wants to be pirate king, In fact nothing in the story supports the "evil shanks" theory. There are clearly connections he has with the world nobles however, just because his presence is accepted or at least tolerated by the gorosei doesn't mean his intentions are evil. I think both he and Blackbeard are probably the only two pirates in the world who know the truth about the world. Other than any remaining former Roger pirates. If we find out Blackbeard knows I think it will help us see his true intentions better. I think it's possible that blackbeard wants to leave the world as it is and to use the information he has to gain some sort of control over the world government, I'm not sure how he might go about this but he probably already has the strength what he's lacking is the cause belli if you would, imagine him using the information he gains to turn the people of the world against the government only for him to then turn around and name himself ruler. That's probably what Rocks was planning and there are already so many threads between the two characters. If this is the case I think it's possible that Shanks knows this and is trying to stop it by any means necessary because he recognizes that even though the world government is cruel and evil it would be far worse under someone like Blackbeard. If that really was Rock's plan then it's likely after finding the one piece Roger would have told shanks to be on the lookout for someone else just like rocks. Because I think it's possible that we will find out that just like Roger rocks was too early to be able to enact his plan, the world just wasn't ready for it. Just like the world wasn't ready for joyboy to return when Roger made his way to laughtale. So imagine shanks is told to wait for joyboy and to be there when he's ready to bring the dawn, but this entire time shanks has also been waiting for the antithesis to joyboy the one who would bring the dawn. That of course being Blackbeard the man who would shroud the world in darkness. If this is the case then it means that this entire time shanks has been a triple agent. He seemed to help the gum-gum fruit evade the world government and in doing so he fulfilled it's desire to find someone with the will and driving force to help it achieve it's goal. All the whole shanks has been on the lookout for a man like Rocks to appear in challenge to Luffy and the gum gun fruit. So he goes and warms the world government about the threat he poses, in the hopes that they would turn their focus to him and possibly help him bring him down opening the way for Luffy to become pirate king. However, this doesn't work. Either the gorosei saw through the ruse, or maybe Luffy's actions superseded blackbeard in their attention or maybe that wasn't his exactly plan to begin with. However, something over the course of a few months has changed. I think what changed his Nika. Luffy had his awakening and unlocked the true power of the Nika fruit. This signaled to him that it was time for him to take his place at the end of the world ready to meet Luffy and the last island in the world. Ready for whatever change Luffy is destined to bring up on the world. I don't believe in the dark shanks theory. Shanks was clearly interested in the gum-gum fruit but he never partook of it. In fact it makes no sense why he would have ever brought the thing into the tavern with him in the first place. If he wanted the power for himself he could have taken it, if he wanted to prove he was more powerful than the power of the gum-gum fruit he could have just killed Luffy right then and there. There is the idea that he wants him to grow stronger so he may one day rival him. However, shanks is clearly incredibly shrewd and pragmatic I can't see him taking that kind of risk of his ultimate goal is to take the one piece for himself and become pirate king. He has nothing to prove, everyone who was even around in Rodgers time is either dead, or not an active pirate anymore. There is no one to question is authority or stand up to him. Hell he's probably one of the top 5 or even 3 strongest combatants in the world. So why would he ever risk Luffy beating him, knowing the true nature of his devil fruits. Of course shanks could be ignorant of this however, who's who hints that their ship and the devil fruit they were transporting was targeted as if shanks and his crew knew what they were looking for and why. With all of the evidence the story has put forward I don't think Shanks is secretly evil nor do I think he wants to be pirate king. I think oda has been playing us from the start and he hasn't stopped to this day. He has done everything he can to lump suspicion onto shanks and turn us against his hidden intentions since the day he and whitebeard clashed. I think shanks is the one who will bring all of these mysteries into focus one day and he will rip off the veil and we will see his true intentions and motives, and that moment I think we will see that he has never once acted against Luffy's best interests. Infact I think he's been serving Luffy since the first chapter of the manga. Potentially making him Luffy's first Nakama. That's just conjecture and good natured fun though.

i just read a comment that addressed this issue. dudeguy8686 said it is possible that the red line was actaully one of onepices moons and on that moon lived Lunarians. this is very possible given that we have already seen creatures that can live on the moon in enels cover story. dudeguy8686 believed that someone who had Fujitora's devil fruit pulled that moon down with the Lunarians from space and that moon was used to create the red line. i think just the name of the race Lunarians could be a massive hint towards them coming from space lunar meaning determined by, or resembling the moon. i think their name was given to them by the people of the ancient kingdom or maybe the original celestial dragons when they found them chilling on the top of the red line.

Maybe some can think this next one over? If Roger wanted to live in Joyboys Era. Is it possible Luffy's and Roger's true dream is interconnected or only possible if you reform the original land mass? Like imagine if Roger had a true dream. Which he does. And he learns that in the past the world used to be one piece and that somehow would be part of his dream or allow his dream to be possible. What might the dream be with this extra piece of knowledge? Something like walk or explore the bottom of the ocean? lol I don't know trying to find something childish but that can appeal to adults. And get the mixed reactions from various people. It's difficult. I know giant party has come up but I feel like it's not just that.

Great video! I have this one theory / analasys I think you might find interesting. I remember back when you were finishing up Wano and you were a tad dissapointed in the final blow of Kaido. Well since you introduced me into thinking about the importances of final blows simbolically speaking (crocodile being pushed out of the shadows, doflamingo being put down as a false god), Kaido wanted more than anything to die a magnificent death where everyone could see, so that it would be his legacy, just like Roger, Whitebeard and Oden. But Luffy didn’t give him that, he was defeated away from the eyes of the people of Wano and he was buried deep to the ground, away from the spotlight. If the people had witnessed Luffy defeating him then maybe Kaido would have been remembered in his epic clash against Luffy (joyboy). Kaido even references this during the fight against Luffy. He says that Luffy shouldn’t have to worry because people are going to talk about this battle for years to come, and Luffy answers him that (unlike Kaido) he doesn’t care about that. Kinda like what Usopp said to the samurai about death, it’s better to live in shame than to die for glory

This makes way more sense now. Also, I'm going to bet that the name of the ancient kingdom was One Piece and it was a giant landmass but WG ( 20 kingdsoms) sinked thus they are the creators of this current world.

I think on top of this, we may get a climax where Imu is about to submerge the entire world, while Mariejois stays high and dry. We're already seeing the possibility of this with the effects of the Mother Flame. This could be the great cleansing that's been hinted at, and a really good way to make the stakes high for the final battle.

This would also work well with the theory that Luffy's dream is to throw the biggest party. Bringing back the giant continent makes it feasible

The only questions that remain are: how does the Noah fit into this theory and what is Blackbeard doing in all of this. I think some characters in the past had a prophetic ability of some sort given how Rogers crew acted on laughtale. Therefore the Noah was built for the current era, not to safeguard people of the past. Imu seems uninterested in killing everyone, and also seems to be immortal based on law’s devil fruit having that ability and what sabo learned about him. Given this immortality problem of imu, there doesn’t seem to be a way for luffy to beat him. But Blackbeard can steal devil fruits, so towards the end of the story Blackbeard steals imu’s fruit and uses it’s power to fully sink the world, thus giving the Noah a purpose (and creating the all blue?) Then luffy beats Blackbeard and liberates the world
