    • @MsingiAfrikaTV
      @MsingiAfrikaTV  Před 6 měsíci

      @@jacquelinemwaniki6465 Beautiful. Please keep storing as much as you can and permaculture is good way to go. As per a public seed bank, it's complex because of the various seed policies that African governments have been foolishly making. But I believe private seed banks might be the way to go. Public seed banks are easy targets but private ones can stay hidden from those who want to destroy indigenous seeds.

So sad and tragic really to see most Kenyan agronomist advising farmers to use hybrid seed and all sorts of chemicals in their farms. All of this is good. But the question is where are the seeds? Where do we find the seeds so we can plant them?

    • @MsingiAfrikaTV
      @MsingiAfrikaTV  Před 7 měsíci

      Like I had mentioned in other comments these plants are not concentrated in one region in the continent. Thus the seeds are also scattered across Africa. So I can't tell you go to so and so and you will find the seeds. But what we all should begin to do is gather and keep the seeds that are in our locality. At least each one can begin from there. But to have a particular location where all the seeds will be available, that i do not think is possible. Except someone has done the business of gathering them from across the continent in one space.
