Thank you so much for this video! I started playing a few days ago and have slowly but surely started to learn the game. The only area that isn’t covered for beginners is life skill traits. I have played just about every other MMO and have mastered the crafting/gathering. It’s been hard to find a guild on it from a beginners standpoint. There are so many questions left unanswered. Please let me know if you would like my list.

You can force FSR 1.0 into FXAA by a certain method. After setting it the first time directly save it into a profile so you can directly go back into it without going through that 16 step process.

Well thanks to how the game is coded you will want to play with as many fps as possible.
Classes like Ranger deal significantly less damage with the fps locked to 60, than with 200+ fps

highly recommend against setting contrast up, at night time it makes things impossible to see, i play with contrast at -7 to make some dark areas visible

Great guide -- can you do a class guide on what are the top LEAST APM classes? There are lots of guides for which classes are most meta, most fun, etc etc but I'd like to know which classes are the least APM to save my hands! Thank you!
Succ Gurdian, Succ Zerk and Succ Lahn, all low APM and all strong.
Valktrain you only need two fingers
Guardian is the lowest apm class in the game
Guardian is prob the best if you wanna save your fingers and have a chill grind, way tankier than other classes and the lowest apm there is, i do recommend aw mage/witch, they have long animations and a double taunt ability that makes enemys not hit you so you dont spend time dodging
Guardian is low APM as many are saying, but timing on the skills feels really “non-flowy” and that makes it feel a bit uncomfortable for me. I think it’d be better to worry less about APM and worry more about what’s really easy to play.
Lahn is really easy. Shai is easy. Awakening Musa is stupid easy. Valk is supposed to be easy as others say - I’ve never played so no comment.
For end, end game grinding where you have to pay attention to rotations they may be more difficult with higher APM, but what you really want easy, you outgear where you are grinding and find a really easy to spam 2-3 button rotation.

Hey anders, I’m trying to figure something out. During the Oduksini boss blitz, I struggle to see the attack AoEs on the ground (the purple blocks) and the tornados. I played remastered and COULD see but i lag quite a bit so I switched back to very low. What setting do I need to change to see those AoEs? Much love ❤
Super help! Only thing I can’t get rid of is the stupid “combo skills” block when I initiate combat. Then I find I can’t edit UI until level 10. 🙄

How do I save my Hotkey or Global Settings? Everytime I play with my other Characters i always need to redo my hotkeys. Is there a way to store the hotkeys for all Characters?

Is there a way to pick which health bar is up? When in a party you will have 3 bars up. I would like to just have the one on the top left corner...

@AndersGallar Not sure why but whenever I use Remastered graphics, the sky just looks like one big flash bang/God ray. Had to switch to Very High. Ever experience that?

You gain FPS too, because there's less of your monitor generating pixels and stuff. I know it can seem weird at first considering that you see more stuff to the sides but that's different, your gpu is still having an easier job when you narrow the screen.

Dottz gaming has a video on how to get FSR running with FXAA. There's a specific order to the setup, but it'll work.
It doesnt work really. When you select FSR, it turns on Remastered and TAA, and auto apply those settings(confirmation window pops up). You cant change it afterwards and game looks like blurry mess, at least in my case. Probably because im playing at HD monitor, it doesnt have to be so bad at much higher resolutions.
Maybe there is some way to manualy change it in some config INI file, but i dont think that will go very well.
@@cyphi474 weird, I have FXAA selected and FSR checked, but I am using a hi res monitor, so maybe I'm not noticing the blurry mess.
@@chewbaccarampage When i check FSR, window pops up that say remastered and TAA is req. If you do confirm, then it turns those on, if you decline then it switch back . Maybe it was posible to do in the past, because FXAA gets greyed out if you use FSR and you cant change it anymore.
@@cyphi474you aren't doing the workaround then. Choice also has a guide on it that's simple to follow, I used to use it, but your set up doesn't effect what settings you can select just performance

Its under auto follow camera on console but it's kinda hard to control your attack directions with it on, it may work better on pc

If you play BDO on PC with a controller, I recommend setting your UI up before turning on Gamepad UI in the settings if you decide to use the Gamepad UI. This game's gamepad UI is missing a lot of features and options that are only available in the M+KB UI. Also, you will find that you will have to toggle Gamepad UI off in order to do certain things, such as setting up Skill Cooldown slots on your HUD because the option simply doesnt exist in Gamepad UI. Someone should definitely do an updated guide for those controller players specifically because it was rough trying to figure a lot of that stuff out.
I had to toggle my game pad off to confirm the dream horse name a couple weeks ago. It would not enter no matter what I did.
@@Deezz1212 Yep. As I keep playing, I keep learning about things that don't exist in the gamepad UI. That new inventory category feature they just added this most recent patch? Nope, only in the M+KB UI.

I can’t even find settings button. Only allows me to change character. I hope access to the settings button isn’t locked behind tutorial. I play inverted axis & everything feels back to front right now
Confirmed. Just completed tutorial with backwards controls & now I am able to access the settings button! I can’t believe they released the game like this. Bit worried about continuing tbh, like what else have they messed up? I’m only 5 mins in
Man i love the moonflower custome design. Shame that its just too skimpy for my liking
Kinda wish they also made non-skimpy version for this and the classic woosa costume
They could have gone the route of having a cape on/off skirt to cover the side leg display with the Moonflower outfit. Would flow well imo.

Personally, the performance optimization option just causes crash on my AMD system. I have 16gb of RAM and this thing turned off. I read in ACanadianDude's guide that 32gb of RAM plays better with this option.

maybe I didn't make myself clear in the video. TAA implementation in BDO is hot garbage.
