Plant Stand DIY || Using Wood Rounds || Just 1 Cute Craft

I absolutely love how this little plant stand turned out! I hope it inspires you!
Materials~
Hobby Lobby~
2- 5” wood rounds
1- 7” wood round
Scrapbook paper
Dollar Tree~
Dowel - 1/2” wide
Mod podge
Other~
Waverly antique wax
Wood glue
7/32 drill bit
4 screws

I loved the paper you chose. It’s so pretty. It looked amazing with the Antique wax on the wood. Just a couple of tips though. It wasn’t necessary to use the wax on the tops if you were going to decoupage the paper on top. Also thin light coats of Mod Podge are best when decoupaging paper or napkins. You get minimal wrinkles and bubbles that way. That was a whole lot of Mod Podge. You had a great solution to work out the bubbles though and it turned out beautifully. You can save a lot more product and possible headaches using wax only where needed and using lighter coats of decoupage medium. Since I started using the heat transfer method I will never go back. It always turns out flawless. With a heat tool to dry the layer of Mod Podge it is also super quick and easy in my opinion. Have you ever tried it?
