Hola Javier, thanks for your note. I'm sure you will enjoy Villa Premier as much as I do. If you're on an all-inclusive program, here's an insider secret, you can order any menu item from any restaurant regardless of which restaurant you are seated in. For a great local taco shops, exit your hotel and walk to the main road, turn right down to the Shell station, and turn right at that corner. Fabulous tacos, especially the carnitas. In Zona Romantica, try Margarita Grill. Ask if David Chairez is on duty at the hotel, he is the sales manager and a friend of mine. Say hi to him for me. He's also a good guy to know in PVR.

I really enjoyed my time at the Villa Premiere Boutique Hotel. you have your choice of all-inclusive or ala carte dining. It is a small hotel with a quiet and relaxed vibe. April is a nice month to go as we come out of winter, but before the summer heat and humidity hit.

You will love the Villa Premiere Boutique hotel. Great location to old town and downtown. And do walk the Malecon, a one-mile waterfront walking boulevard. Fantastic! If you want to dine outside the hotel, try the Margarita Grill in the Zona Romantica district. Lots of fun for lunch and dinner (and bring your face mask). During your stay at the Villa Premiere ask if David Chairez is on property. David is a good friend of mine and serves as the hotel's Director of Sales for the USA and Canada. I really like this hotel, planning a trip with a group of friends, is this hotel just mostly for couples? I kind of want a resort that's fun for a group of people.
Hola Jesus, the Villa Premiere Boutique Hotel is a really good hotel. With only 80 rooms is appeals to those tend to avoid loud and noisy gatherings. Is it mostly for couples? I would say most hotels are filled mostly with couples. If you are looking for a larger, more nightlife crowd, dancing and music, Villa is probably not my first choice for you. In saying that, please don't misunderstand what I'm saying. The Villa is great hotel, but has a more low key vibe.

What about the restaurant options and food quality and variety - are there buffets? It's all inclusive.
Hi Bumble, the Villa Premiere is a boutique hotel features just 80 rooms. It offers a intimate experience without the crowds or large hotel towers. I like the location in the downtown area close to the Malecon. Service is top notch. The hotel swimming pool is on the small size, but adequate. The quality of food is "muy excellente." The hotel offers four dining options, excluding room service, viz., 1) La Ceiba: international cuisine, 2) La Corona: refined gourmet, 3) Murales: Mexican with an upscale twist, and 4) the pool bar with burgers, Mexican finger food, pub grub, and the like. There are two additional dining options for an additional charge, viz., the Chef's Table for a special group dinner of 6-14 guests, and a romantic dinner for two under a private canopy oceanside. Personally, I really enjoy the Villa Premiere and look forward to returning.

How can I reach you regarding a fully refundable airline ticket I bought and have not been reimbursed for after 9 months? I am willing to pay a fee for your assistance!
Thank you for your note. The behavior of some airline re: refunds that passengers are legally entitled to is inexcusable. What airline are you requesting a refund from? FYI, foreign airlines, generally speaking, are the most troublesome.
I assume you are talking about an airline ticket for domestic travel within the United States or international travel to/from the US. If this is the case, I recommend you file a complain with the US Dept. of Transportation. If your complaint is deemed credible, the DOT will contact the airline in question and said airline is required to respond.
If you bought the airline ticket directly from the airline (if you used a credit card, see what name is listed on your statement as the vendor), you are entitled to a refund from that airline per your form of payment (most likely a credit card). If you bought the ticket from an online ticket broker, your refund may end up coming directly to the broker. I have heard unfortunate stories of some ticket brokers simply refusing to refund tickets and hoping that the consumer will simply give up. If you used a broker, contact the airline using your name, flight itinerary, confirmation code and ticket number and ask if the ticket has been refunded to the broker.
In either case, file a DOT complaint. For details, see: www.transportation.gov/airconsumer/complaint-process.
Airlines that are illegally withholding refunds are likely doing so to preserve their cash reserves. Well, you and I are trying to preserve our cash accounts also.

I finally wrote to IATA Philippines and cc'd the agency. The travel agency replied with a formal reimbursement agreement that deducted cancellation and service fees equaling about $250.00 out of the $950.00 "fully refundable ticket"!
I replied with a challenge but then finally realized, due to the fact that I received no reply from IATA, that I'd better quit while I'm ahead!
Relatives there are to pick up a reimbursement check this week!
I will let you know how that goes!
Lessons learned, don't ever use a debit card for large transactions! Don't ever use a foreign travel agency if one can help it! Book directly through the airline if at all possible!

Hi Rob, thanks for your note. I really enjoyed the food at Villa Premiere. The resort offers both a "gourmet all-inclusive" plan and European plan. The optional "Gourmet All Inclusive Plan" includes all meals, premium beverages, 24 hour in-room dining, in-suite mini-bar and seasonal themed dinners with live music. The resort is a boutique property perfectly located beach front and a short walk to the start of the Malecon. Highly recommended if you want a quiet, intimate experience.
