A day at the beach in Noorwijk. It was a wonderful day. So nice to meet our virtual friends in real life. Actually it was not strange because it was exactly as we speak in our chats. Maya is also as I expected, calm and very adorable. She is a bit smaller when she looks like the photos / videos, but Loulou has the same. And her mom is beautiful. One of the comments I regularly get on CZcams is: Please take another dog for Loulou. Loulou is in daily contact with other dogs, we continue to encourage this. She doesn't like other dogs. Also not of her own size. Certainly no other dachshunds because they are much too wild. She accepts it when dogs are calm but not too close. She doesn't play with dogs either. She is only focused on our family. She wants to play with Romy and Claire in the sea, but the sea was too rough. Someday we hope for healthy puppies from Loulou, that's a dream. Xxx Eveline.
My dachshund Toby does not like other dogs either unless it’s another dachshund. We take him to the dog park almost everyday but he would rather stay home with us. He likes to chase squirrels. He is very affectionate with us.

Wow had to hold my breath when little Loulu was being tossed under and around in the sea!!!! Maya out ran the waves, Loulu ran into the waves!!!! Then being chased by a puppy my goodness!!! Lol. She is a great little dogl...love her! I don’t agree with breeding for any reason because so so many dogs are abused, neglected, and destroyed every year. It is all caused by over breeding. Sad sad situation but so real. Loved watching you and family and friends at the beach!!! Thank you for sharing while I have my Sunday morning coffee.
Sleep tight LouLou! ♥️ I had a beautiful Samoyed named Cookie. She died of breast cancer at age 21 years. She would sit like a queen at our gate and watch the neighborhood. People walking by thought it was a statue! Statues dont shed like Samoyeds! 🌹

Not all dogs want to play with other dogs; some clearly prefer interacting with humans. Don't worry about her not liking other dogs, she likes to be just with the family - my cat was like that, he didn't like other cats. As long as they are loved and happy there's nothing wrong with that.

Wow I really enjoyed this. Such beautiful scenery, having fun at the beach. Loulou is small but she's tough and enjoys her own company. That last part of the video made me laugh, Loulou was out for the count. :P
LouLou has a big heart, no fear! But she did very well in the ocean, just needed some leg extensions and maybe a float vest. 😁 You were smart to take her out of the water, though; even strong swimmers can get tired in the surf and then get in trouble very quickly. (I grew up in islands in the Pacific ocean) Great video, thanks for making them 👍
