Excellent! I was at my peak in painting and used to do oil painting frequently in 8th grade. I left painting to focus completely on studies and after 3 yrs I feel like going back to the peaceful painting again

Very impressive!
I really liked the effect the yellow glaze did. I've been taught to do glazes a bit differently, though. Acrylic painting has no "fat over lean" -rule but still top coat glazes should have some medium in them. Using just water might dilute the paint too much and weaken the paint film. But this is just me talking who likes rules too much.😅

when using oils on black canvas, should you paint the canvas with black gesso firstbefore covering the canvas with a transparent background paint? Thanks Kevin. You do awesome work

Could you please go int oo a little more detail about how you get such a low opacity on your paints, like when you were making the sun and trees look a little warmer, how did you get it so translucent? And how to do the relections and ripples. Great painting and video though!
