Nice review! I have a 2020 Brute Force 300 and so far it's been a great machine. The speedometer issue you had is just a cable that disconnected. I had the same issue, just need to unscrew the 2 screws holding the dash in place, lift the dash up a bit, look for a wire that is disconnected and then just reconnect it. Took me about 5 to 10 minutes. Anyway keep the content coming!
Kymco makes a great little machine. Sometimes the smaller bikes are all a guy needs. You’ll enjoy it!

I’m looking at possibly working for a Tracker 300 next summer and I love this engine size! Out here in Colorado we have lots of trails but the good ones are pretty narrow… I think having a small ATV like this would be perfect. They really do need more ATV’s in this category; not too big but great power.

I have the alterra 300, same bike, I want to put bigger tires on it but idk if it can handle it.

Sorry to pick on you :) No idea how tall you are obv but my daughter is 5'6" do you think it would fit OK? Power and everything OK on the 300?
@@jcims i am 4'10 and everything is comfortable it sits high up to me anyways so you can see all around you. The 300 would be perfect i think

I’m definitely going to be making a review video later on it. I haven’t owned it long enough to give a full recommendation or not. So far so good and we shall see how reliable is it. It is a 2 wheel drive.
The alterra 300 the tracker 300 and The brute Force 300 are all the same mechanically. Kymco a Taiwanese engine manufacturer makes the motor for these three. It's actually a 270cc motor. Not sure who makes the carburetor but it is a carbureted unit unfortunately even in 2021 it could have been electric fuel injection. The only thing different would be the creature comforts. Plastics and all of that is up to their individual manufacturers the way Kawasaki does the park brake lever that's Kawasaki. And the way that alterra and tracker 300 have the front end that looks like a little riding lawn mower that's all textron. I really wish Yamaha would come back out with a 250. Just like the bear tracker from 20 years ago that I currently ride. Just upgrade the following. Electronic fuel injection instead of a carburetor solid rear axle and front shocks instead of McPherson struts. And they're tried and true ultra-matic CVT would be the best machine ever would be perfect for trails perfect for farm users.

Yes we still have the quad runner, favorite quad so far might be a Honda recon or Yamaha warrior, for the money they are both great machines
@@cwoutdoors4522 you should make another video on it have a quadrunner 160 I've had it ever since I was born it's been through a ton and it's still ripping with no oil change in it's lifetime😂
Currently has a broken throttle cable but once we get it we will probably make a video on it again

I have a 2023 one between 6 Mi an hour and eight miles an hour it kind of loses a little bit of power that normal on yours
These quads do have a break in period up to 100 miles. Try to keep revs low up to that point, after that and an oil change they should feel a lot stronger.
He said it picks up lol I luke the quad but u need to come ride my 750 only a couple things done but yea lol.

Ours has 7 miles on it. It has a knock sound under load. Anyone else’s doing that?
If you didn’t follow break in procedure you could of very well just worn right through your rod bearing
@@cwoutdoors4522 it really sounds like the cvt not the engine. Have been easy on it and have followed break in
Could be the belt, I’d have the dealer check it since it’s under warranty, might be a factory defect
These 2 valve motors have noisy valves, sounds like a knock when idling or under load. Unless its severe, its most likely normal. Just make sure u got correct oil level in the sight glass and change it once in awhile, clean the air filter and these are bullet proof

does yours vibrate bad at lower reves my 2020 model does and it pisses me of
