This show is off the rails.. Ani is mesmerizing!!!
Been a fan since Clip. Saw her for the first time in upstate NY in the catskills two years ago, she was playing the day after the Dead & Co. show at Saratoga and I was driving home to MI. Was a bit weird as we were at that stage in the pandemic trying to figure out how to be safe, but it was an open air event in a beautiful setting, and she was incredible, of course. I saw her again, live last October at the Kalamazoo show which is well documented, and of course that show was incredible. Cant wait to see her live again. She is an inspiration.
@51:50 I Love Ani's stage presence and the messages that she has stood for and held ground on for many years. An amazing writer, artist, performer and activist of her own style and orientation. Thank you Ani for many years of soul searching inspiration.
This was my favorite era of Ani, I loved the horns and the full band. I have loved Ani through all the years, but this was my favorite.

+Terry Mccloud She's utterly amazing, I've been a fan since i was was 12 and seen her live a ton, she is better than amazing and is constantly evolving.... no words can describe how important she has been to my life and me as a person. Ani is beyond her years, her writing is stunning and crazy tunings and guitar just make me love her that much more!
I salute the engineers handing fine guitars to a fine mind. She has one.
Her best damn band to this date. Shane endlsey on trumpet can't get much better than that
Her dvd 'Render' pretty much captured this era and all of the great arrangements from her horn/full band setup.
I highly recommend getting that dvd :)
providence never gets old from 97 to 2006 saw so many shows met her and I always comeback to this one an enjoyit

Gosh I don't like the horns. I just read Ani's autobiography and I know she just loved them. She also said it cut down on the spontaneity and audience connection.

I apologize to DiFranco fans but I just don't see or appreciate what they do? I live a happy life as a handicap not as a healthy person full of self pitying sadness that I can change. .
