Was walking down the boardwalk in Virginia Beach with a buddy of mine late one night in 1983 and stopped to talk with this guy who was sitting on the hood of his Caddy with Canadian license plates, smokin' a doobie. He said he played guitar in a rock band and was there for a concert in Roanoke, to which I replied "That's cool. What's the name of your band?". His response? "April Wine". That wound up being one of those epic nights that you still remember all these years later. We dropped some acid and partied all night with him and these chicks we met. We all ended up skinny dipping there at the beach just as the sun was coming up. Best night ever.
Okay which guitar player did you hang with. April wine has 3 guitar players guy named Niles is singer who plays lead guitar .The other guys one has dark hair (rides his bike then jumps off boats) and other guy looks taller sand blond permed, length of course.

Hell, I'm at that age now where I have trouble remembering my friend's names sometimes so it's no surprise I can't remember someone's name I met once nearly 40 years ago when I was really wasted. I just remember riding around in a huge Cadillac El Dorado with Canadian license plates and the dude saying he played guitar in a rock band and that the band was called April Wine. Whichever one it was, I remember him being really cool and it being one of those really wild, memorable nights.
