Ik this is a year old but just to clear this up cops have to do this. There are rules and they can’t just go all out and kill a suspect on sight or something. That would’ve been smart but they can’t do that yet. Another example is a pursuit, the unit would stay behind the suspect unless given permission to perform a pit or something. (At least I’m pretty sure)

@@brandongipson-keys3959 its called crossfire, if shit goes down, officers can hit one another, its better to have a long pursuit without incident, than a short one with loss of life, what i don't agree on is that they didn't once try to pit him that whole time, thats the only thing i didn't like about that pursuit, perfect opportunities, no traffic, and they just watched as he went hella fast and dangerous... But no, you will RARELY have a situation like that as it poses a high risk, especially since they are in...you know... a GAS STATION? they'd rather let him go and stop him somewhere else, than have him go crazy and pottentially blowing up the gas pumps...

Evan Staley first of all yes you are right in a GTA stance but in real life a crash could kill someone and in RP we try to be as realistic as possible. And yes Im an officer in gta RP and I would be glad to answer any questions you have.

I think when he pulled the SUV over he should have placed the driver under arrest for his warrants and detained the passengers for further Investigation.
look in some states in a pursuit to be able to shoot tires you need some things to check out he can’t just immediately shoot the tires cuz then the pursuit would end and the crim won’t have fun.
