Ive already got $20,000 worth of crawlers but thinking of picking one of these up. Theynare just ao cute and look pretty decent on trails with some upgradds
Yeah, for how cheap they are they're not too bad. I was surprised how tough they are tbh too. Definitely needs better electronics, shocks and tyres to start with. 👍

Best $50 o spent on an Rc BUUUUT it leaves ya wanting more and I’m swapping out the front and rear axels, looking for a motor now, and ways to enhance the truck. It is a good starting point for entry but the parts are near flimsy / cheap and it has components that if you weren’t really careful with it, then you’d be forced into fixing stuff.
It does rock though.
I think I got it on eBay there’s a tan one with the tire on the back and I got the blue one so I got two of them.
I think my two favorite online stores are A Main Hobbies and Panda RC.
Yeah for the price they're decent and definitely upgrade ready. 👍

Where did you buy it from? From WPL website or any other e commerce platform. I am trying to buy it from Amazon in the uk, but it is costing me 70 GBP which is 88 USD

I forgot what it’s called, but does it have that variable steering thing? Where you can turn the steering a little bit and it only turns the wheels a bit?
Yeah, proportional steering and throttle, it has both. 👍

Modify the steering with after market linkages, and then get a bearing kit for the transmission and axles.

I've already put conformal coating on the electronics. I might keep the bushings though, see if they last longer than bearings, as I do a lot of mud and water runs. 👍
@@DoURC bushings are easier to clean and lube, where bearing almost always need to be replaced.
You do a lot of water and mud runs, may I suggest installing waterproof electronics instead of coating everything??👍
The problem I personally have with coatings is access to the components for maintenance.

@@1biggieb Ah nice, I was looking at the 2 speed before. I've got some portal axles I need to fit to mine and was going to try some scx24 Injora shocks, as the stock shocks are rubbish. Another project in a long list of projects! 🤣🤦
Great little crawlers but the kit ones are better 👌 due to softer tires and the fun of putting it all together ❤️

I did the kit of the B16 KM and I can't say I enjoyed it tbh, especially faffing around trying to get the gears to not bind in the axles. For the price of the KM kit I was a bit disappointed tbh, which is a shame.
1/10 and 1/12 scale for the WIN

@@DoURC hey man I got a WPL and it works great but it sometimes cut off in the front lights. Just keep on blinking I’m looking for a new motor is there anyway you would be able to send me a link for a good one cheap I know CZcams took away the link, but I’ll just put it in please please a good one thank you

@israelramjeawan I would just order a replacement from WPL or look on Aliexpress. You could upgrade to the 2 speed at the sane time depending on your electrics. 👍
Nice! Is the transmission of this crawler more robust or at least equal to the MN82?
I've had no issues with it, but personally I'd pick the MN82 over this, as its just a better all round rig imo. 👍

Just bought one of these from a bin store.. opened It up at home. Broken rear drive shaft. One traction bar up front is broke. And a broken wheel. Not a bad looking crawler though. But damn it. Gues i can upgrade parts🤷♂️
That's no good. Yeah plenty of upgrade parts available online. They're super cheap rigs. You can buy them new for about $25 on Aliexpress. If you look on Aliexpress etc you'll see loads of metal upgrades etc available. 👍

Just bought an open box kit from the goodwill for $10 didn't know if it was all there but it turned out to be! Im super pleased with it for the $11 after tax im into it! Tire glue is gonna cost me as .ich as the truck did

No worries, just stock wheels and tyres. I'm actually running different ones now, but in this video they're stock. 👍
@@DoURC nice, I just blew out my power to my rear wheels yesterday. Heartbroken 😭 idk if it’s rear diff gears or motor but if it wasn’t for that I wouldn’t have known that mine was only a 130… so now I’m upgrading everything 😂

Stock they're plastic gears, so maybe swap to metal at the same time. 👍
There's something wrong on the wheel in front when steer it to left the right wheel will go up
The axle and suspension setup isn't the best tbh!
For you what kind of esc would you prefer and what kind of esc because im trying to assemble one full metal build i cant seem to find the right brushed esc for my 370 motor and what voltage would you prefer pls help me and if i add a brushless motor like a hobbywing 800kv what esc should i use and battery thanks
It really depends on budget and how much space you have tbh. You can't go wrong with a Hobbywing 1080 and they're quite compact.
Other option is maybe try fit a Furitek system as they're small.
I got my b36 and im thinking of replacing the 180 motor to a c54 260 motor
I'm sure a bigger motor would help. You running the single speed not two speed?

@DoURC i only do slow crawling tbh like indoor crawling space the terrain outside our house is basically only made for 1/10 rc cars

If your thinking about buying one of these I'd steer highly clear there absolutely junk nothing lasts and your lucky to have it move when u get it I had to replace transmition in mine out of the box it slipped
Never drove a inch
They are only like $25 so you can't expect much. Tbf I've had no issues with mine. MN82 is much better or spend a bit more and get a proper crawler. 👍
Is the car waterproof?
No, but I coated the esc in conformal coating to waterproof it. 👍
