- Acclaimed actor and New York Film Academy Alum Manuel Garcia-Rulfo recently joined us for a very special conversation moderated by the NYFA Chair of Acting for Film Department (Los Angeles), Lynda Goodfriend.
Manuel has a long list of incredible credits in both Hollywood and Mexican cinema and TV. Acting alongside Hollywood’s biggest names, including Tom Hanks, Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt, Ethan Hawke, Kenneth Branagh, Penélope Cruz, and Willem Dafoe, Manuel shared his story and journey to becoming the famed actor he is today.

I binged watched The Lincoln Lawyer on Netflix… and loved it. I’m looking forward to the next season. All of the the characters are fantastic especially Manuel Garcia-Rulfo… He is a such a delight to the eyes… 😍😍😍😍😍

The Lincoln Lawyer is a great show. Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, you did a great job. The cast of the Lincoln Lawyer is also great. Of course, we have to thank Michael Joseph Connelly the author for penning such a wonderful novel. I wish Manuel can do the other books too, and we can have plenty of shows to watch on Netflix that is law based, which is my favorite genre to watch.

I love The Lincoln Lawyer……and OMG Manuel Garcia did such an awesome job….. I love how he incorporated little thing here and there about the Mexican Culture!!!!! Love him and please Netflix keep filming the next season. I love the books of Michael Connelly.

I discovered the genius of Manuel Garcia-Rulfo in the Lincoln Lawyer. He was absolutely brilliant and so charismatic. I then researched him and found I had seen couple of his past movies and the went back to see Man called Otto, 6 Underground and Magnificent 7. Would love to see more of this actor.
