Today I'm showing you how to make a Disney Pixar INSIDE OUT Cake with a Rainbow layer cake inside, rainbow carnival design on the outside and GUMBALLS!

Ingredients:
5 x vanilla cake layers (7"), each tinted a different colour (Red, Yellow, Green, Blue & Purple) * This equates to 3 of my vanilla cake recipes* bit.ly/2idScI3
2 batches of vanilla buttercream frosting bit.ly/MCAbuttercream
Sanding sugar in Red, Yellow, Green, Blue & Purple
Gumballs (about 60) ** make sure they're smallish ones and can fit in your test tubes
Melted white candy melts or compound chocolate Compound chocolate doesn't contain cocoa butter in the ingredients list
Tools:
Colorful 9" cake board
Piece of paper
Clear tape
Spoon
Serrated edge knife

Depression is no fun to deal with! I hope you start feeling better soon, sending you lots of love and prayers :) I like the idea of your happy cake. It would be fun to cover a cake with white fondant and then draw all of your favorite happy things with edible markers!

Hi! I split my time between the the two countries and make videos from both. I try to do both fall AND spring /summer ideas to covers the whole world. I did the fall video but only 6 weeks earlier had done the summer video (for us!) so I do my best to keep ideas flowing for everyone, no matter where you're watching from!

Some people aren't comfortable with plastics and/or adhesive chemicals touching their out their kids' food.
+Nicole B Generaly, it is not good if non-edible items touch your cake. E.g. you should rap your doll up to the waist with plastic food wrap before utting it on your cake when you're making a doll cake

This is beautiful and very impressive! but if I'm honest I'm not sure how I'd feel about eating a cake covered in sugar. Wouldn't it feel really gritty in your mouth?
it would kind of tasty gritty but I think they desolve in your mouth as you eat
Personally I love a simple cake or cupcake coated with sanding sugar (with frosting of course). It doesn't really taste gritty, it's more of a nice crunch, like how sugar gives a nice crunch to the tops of pie crusts. What I'm trying to say is, the cake is moist and fluffy and smushy with frosting but the sanding sugar brings a nice crunch to it.
