An incredible move / Un incroyable déménagement

In the countryside of Kampot, an owner sold his house. Until then, nothing but very normal. But he sold his house without the land! The seller and the buyer closed the deal several months ago and then waited for the dry season and the end of the harvest to relocate.
This morning, family and villagers gathered for this exceptional moment. Everything seems to have been meticulously thought out and prepared. Everyone is waiting for the green light.
For this trip, a boy and a girl are placed in the house. According to belief, the task will be easier! In Cambodia, beliefs and symbols are perennial. This couple of children is reminiscent of the original legend of the settlement of the country. She reports that Cambodia was born of the union of an Indian prince named Kaundinya and a Khmer princess named Soma, daughter of a powerful Naga king. Thus, when the Indian prince entered Cambodia, the princess defended himself with force, forcing the prince to use his magic bow to subdue it. But, dazzled by his great beauty, he demanded his hand from King Naga. He accepted the request. He then drank all the water covering Cambodia and offered this rich and fertile land as a dowry of marriage.
The family prepared rice victuals and alcohol for the villagers. Humor and good humor are part of the game.
Although the course has been spotted, a few last-minute surprises force men in the prime of their age to demonstrate their agility and know-how.
As far as possible, the Khmers respect their environment. A tree is a tree and no one can knock it down without a good reason.

Un incroyable déménagement
Dans la campagne de Kampot, un propriétaire a vendu sa maison. Jusque-là, rien que de très normal. Mais il a vendu la maison sans le terrain ! Le vendeur et l’acquéreur ont conclu l’affaire il y a plusieurs des mois puis ils ont attendu la saison sèche et la fin des moissons pour déménager.
Ce matin-là, famille et villageois sont réunis pour ce moment d’exception. Tout semble avoir été minutieusement pensé et préparé. Chacun attend le feu vert.
Pour ce voyage, un garçonnet et une fillette sont placés dans la maison. Selon la croyance, la tâche n’en sera que plus aisée ! Au Cambodge, croyances et symboles sont vivaces. Ce couple d’enfants n’est pas sans rappeler la légende originelle du peuplement du pays. Elle rapporte que le Cambodge naquit de l'union d’un prince indien du nom Kaundinya et d’une princesse khmère dénommée Somâ, fille d'un puissant Roi Nâga. Ainsi, lorsque le prince indien aborda le Cambodge, la princesse se défendit avec force, contraignant le prince à utiliser son arc magique pour la soumettre. Mais, ébloui par sa grande beauté, il demanda sa main au roi Nâga. Celui-ci accepta la requête. Il but alors toute l'eau recouvrant le Cambodge et offrit cette terre riche et fertile comme dot de mariage.
La famille a préparé des victuailles et de l'alcool de riz pour les villageois. L'humour et la bonne humeur sont de la partie.
Bien que le parcours ait été repéré, quelques surprises de dernière minute obligent les hommes dans la force de l'âge à démontrer leur agilité et leur savoir-faire.
Autant que faire se peut, les Khmers respectent leur environnement. Un arbre est un arbre et nul ne saurait l'abattre sans une bonne raison.
Ce déménagement est une formidable démonstration de l’esprit d’entraide qui existe encore dans les villages.
