I love this video because when I was 15 my brother and mother surprised me for my birthday and bought me a 2004 Chevy Silverado single cab short box truck. The 1500 series. All the guys loved and couldn’t believe it and I was just so happy to feel like I can relate to something because everyone said the truck is impossible to find, and oddly enough they bought it for $600 it literally didn’t even turn on, so after fixing what needed to be fixed in total the truck was $1200 which was still just insane. A year later and I wake up to hear the sad news that my first and only truck, my absolute dream truck...has been stolen...I couldn’t believe it at first I was in denial but to my surprise, it was true...slowly trying to accept it, few days later I’m genuinely sad and nearly crying, the cops called my brother. “Hey man we found the truck you reported stolen, I was driving down the road and I noticed the trucks license plate in front of me said ‘2006 gmc’ so after pulling him over I remembered a truck like this was reported stolen” so we got there at about 2am and the truck just didn’t feel the same man :/ smelled weird, drove weird and had just such a bad vibe, he stole my ladder and a couple other things, they arrested him but left the prostitute that he was with free. While driving home we couldn’t stop coughing from the Oder, looking at my feet I see a bag and I say to my brother “yo I bet there’s alcohol in there” and so of course I pick up the bag and it’s some huge bottle of corona something, I check his other bags and it’s just full of lighters, chargers and 1 cut up straw with cocain residue. After a bit I see a small tin can on the dash and I said to my brother “ay you know they hide drugs in these things right” he said “no those are just mints” so of course me being a smart ass I open the thing and say “bro I found the drugs” and of course there was a bag of weed, cocain, a used up joint and another bag empty with like 1 nug or whatever.
He carved his own key and that key reprogrammed my trucks ignition, we had to pay a keymaster to make us a new key and now it’s just not the same, if you pull on the key a little it can slide out of the ignition (although idk if it can get out of it just close to getting out) the truck only sometimes smells like weed but rn it just smells like nothing. All in all I thank God I got to see what I thought was gone forever.
