hi, years after discovering your channel I got diagnosed with autism as well. now rewatching it all from a different perspective. thank you for sharing your experience. my journey with autism acceptance (awareness?) started here when i was still in high school and i'm back. thanks to your videos i have never thought "oh, autism is just these sad boys who like trains". thank you.

your videos were the first thing to tickle my brain. if not for that, i'd probably think i'm neurotypical and i'd never dive into autism related stuff

    Hiya
Thank you so much for creating this great content about your echolalia and selective mutism.
I was just wondering with the selective Mutism, is it just your voice that freezes or is it your whole body? Would love to know more!
Thank you so much again 😊

Good video =D. I have a different take on mutism. I find in unfamiliar situations, I'd kinda think of too much at once so sometimes nothing comes out. For instance, if someone said "Hi how are you?" there would be a pause because I'd think of everything from; " I'm OK... my feet hurt... Why asking, do I look Ill? was that an question or a way of saying hello? " all at the same time. It's a bottle neck of thoughts with time pressure because people are expecting a quick response. Do you find this happens to you?

+orangeedo Yeah sometimes I have to pause and get all my words in the right order and when I am confident my words tumble out.
