Very low thc (not less than .03) is very helpful for kids with autism. I didn't get a hug or kiss from my daughter for near 6 years! After a month of cbd with 1% thc in low doses I finally got it. Then I finally heard my girls voice!

This study was done almost a decade ago, Here in California we have dozens of brands for children inhalers of cbd and thc doses. Its been tested inside of usc ucla and berkley for measurements within. Soon once Fed Legilatizion hits the full studies will be accessable for all 50 states.

A cannabis extra like that can be assumed to be between 60%-75% THC so that little blob was still well over 50 mgs. On a more potent extract that little thing could get closer to 100mg. So I can totally understand his experience.

.5g is 500mg thc and 1.0g is 1000mg that's how the industry measures and all depends on what type of concentrates and if full spectrum or not
@BEEZEAL Yes, that's the conversion of total weight, but a 0.5g blob of oil would only be close to 500mg of THC if it were a near pure THC. Ethanol Extracts like the one in this video usually doesn't get in the 90% range.

@@beezeal2042 Not quity, that depends on the potency of the consentrate. THCAA diamonds are the closest you could come to 100% pure, and in that case you would be 100% correct. RSO is normaly around the 60% thc mark, but in some cases there have been made some extremly pure products that have been torowrds the 85%. In that case the 1 gram og RSO equils to around 600 - 850 mg. :)
I used to get rso from Sirius extracts 5-6 years ago, put some starbursts in a double boiler and squeeze a syringe in with it, mix it up, spread it on parchment and wait for it to cool, cut it into strips and you had medicated taffy. Good stuff.
Hi! I made cookies with some of my outdoor from last year...I made Marrakesh butter and I'm sure i steered it well...I made 2 dozens I ate 5 the first day to try very fresh cookies but it wasn't that strong..I kept 3 for a friend but we forgot it and I remembered a month later...I thought it was too old to consume even if I let those in an hermetic box but my friend insisted that we share it together...with 1,5 cookies I felt it much more than five fresh ones...!

Helpful hint. Freeze the dry bud and grain alcohol over night and gently crush the bud with a rolling pin before you rinse. Rinse for 1-2 min max this will avoid picking up too much chlorophyll which will give you green oil and an upset stomach.
When I would extract LSA from morning glory seeds, I'd put in some garlic I believe to help reduce the nausea and wanting to puke feeling! I've been wanting to start with making some edibles with weed someday soon

After I sat up the next thing I remembered was eating cold pizza while giggling to myself and then I stumbled back to my room. The best part was I could feel music vibrate through my body. Its your life. Your choice. But I bet if you stopped smoking weed for 1 year, you will notice a change in your cogitative functions after about 3 months. In a year, you'd be a whole different person.
Now I'm not saying your a bad person, I'm just saying your a different person being that of a daily smoker. I'm not against smoking. I do it about once a week and on special occasions. Its great. But everything that makes it great quickly gets watered down when I abuse it. The less I smoke, the more I get out of it. And I'd like to think in between, I have more cognitive function that serves me better in other aspects of my thinking life.
But to each their own. I do know the rare types that do function better as a daily. But they are rarer then most people would think to claim. And of those rare types, all the them have some trauma of their past that has created that need. For some with such ordeals, that daily use is actually good for them. As for everyone else, its just like alcohol. A little for enjoyment is perfectly fine. A lot is just a problem.

Edibles have only ever made me sleepy, and dispensary stuff is too weak. If I make my own 500mg doses then I can get going, but otherwise like a 10mg gummy doesn't do anything. Some people freak out though.
only smart guy i've seen on series like this making the oil with alcohol and not poisoning your self with butane. yeah you can argue you burn it off but theres still that 1% poison you're not getting rid of.

Not having a tolerance is very uncomfortable for me but once I use it everyday the psychoactive effects significantly diminish while the medicinal properties stay the same.

This is what worries me about driving while under the influence of edibles. It's certainly better than driving with a high alcohol level, but edibles can certainly affect your ability to drive and pose a potential risk to other road users.

We call this having ‘spots’ over in New Zealand. We heat up a table knife (on the stovetop or over a flame), add the spot to the hot knife, and inhale the smoke residue. It’s a verrrrrrry old school way of using weed here, used to be much more common 20-30 years ago. Fun times.
we'd do that with hash 40 yrs ago in Canada (when you got the good afghan hash) -- knife tokes -- put a tiny ball of hash on a heated knife on the stove and inhale as it burns....killer on your throats, but makes getting high fun and interactive!

Usually a cancer patient would take a half gram in the morning, and another half before sleep. I took a full gram at first, thinking I could handle it. I was way too much! It reminded me of the time I drank too much vodka. Made me sick also. You need to build up a tolerance, before trying even a half gram. ;)

Seeing you laugh gives me goosebumps for some reason. I suffer every day from auto-immune diseases, weed doesn't kill the pain like painkillers, just makes life bearable with the pain. Weed is amazing, it's kind of crazy we ever made it illegal. I mean,. I know why, capitalists don't like people expanding their minds. That final take was very weird. Do you not understand tolerance? Nobody wants to get 10x as stoned as you got, or even as stoned as you got (most of the time, we all like to explore boundaries now and again). I basically can't, as a daily user. Those people taking 10x the dose are getting 1/10th of the effect you had.

Soaking unground/blended buds in alchohol for only 5 minutes seems really silly to me, seems like it wouldn't have time to properly penetrate inside and disolve all the oils. Feel like blending it first or soaking for much longer then pressing it would be much more efficient. Guess if you can grow that much maybe efficiency doesn't matter

I don't smoke weed anymore, even though I miss it, it's just best for me that I don't because it leads to other things for me personally but I just found an eighth of some beautiful stuff in an empty cig pack, and just a few minutes after I found a half pack of Camel smokes lol. Considering most cannabis is well over 20% now and even 30% is not uncommon, 3 grams from an ounce is pretty terrible, this seems to be an intentional and significant trade off for better quality. That doesn't make a lot of sense since they take it orally. Eating a bit of chlorophyll doesn't hurt anything, I don't think. I'd love to know the reasoning behind this, less side effects? If anyone has real experience with this I'd like to know.

At 4:05 they are doing some sort of decarbox which they didn’t include in process at the beginning

No way the general dose is an entire gram of oil if a zip only gives you three
a zip at what level ? 25% THC ? that would be 250mg per ounce added up to 28 = 7000mg THC or 7 grams
@@mcozy333 The extract is not 100% THC. You will also lose some THC during decarb. But a 75% THC extract at 3 grams is only 2,250MG out of a unrealistic max of 7,000. Anyways thats still a ridiculously large dose at 1 gram.

Fun vid and love the channel but I still prefer my Mighty+ vape over edibles. First, that much weed will last me 6-8 weeks and it seems MUCH easier to control dosage, and if you know your strains you can stay exactly where you want to be almost all the time. Hard to regulate what might be "2 tokes" worth of edibles for me, but a few hits off that vape 3 times a day seems to be plenty (without inhaling combustibles).
Why don't you grind the weed before the alcohol extraction?

I was working on a farm,and the boss makes RSO he said just take a half a grain size dose , when I was applying the dose with the syringe on the tip of a spoon,I accidentally put a swirl of it on the spoon something like ten tic the normal dose,I thought oh it's just weed I can hang, within a half an hour I couldn't walk,I felt like I was going to have a stroke,or heart attack, I was lying in my bed shaking, tripping balls,it was no fun at all, I was seriously scared for my life.I finally passed out.ive been a heavy stoner since age 12 . when people say just put a very small amount of RSO oil for a dose ,trust me, make sure it's very small ,or you will be in for the gnarliest ride you've ever been on
Its strange what they used, I mean I guess wearing a coat with a logo does not mean much but it certainly makes you look like you were more professional and giving this why on earth (unless only for demonstration but even then why?) would you be using mason jars and just grain alcohol from a bottle for an extraction for medicine which you wanna give children? You will have so many impurities and the contaminations which will end up during the process, you should be using lab equipment and 99.9% non denature ethanol.

Doesn't it need to be heated to activate the THC? Or does the alcohol do that?
