- What an experience!
After I was prevented three years ago and Tool were last in Germany in 2006 before that, I finally had the chance to experience them live.
The concert was simply perfect. I have never had such a perfect sound at more than 100 concerts in my life. The voice was not lost in the mash of instruments. Everything could be heard clearly and distinctly.
The performance Tool-typically perfectly rehearsed and demonstrated.
Many songs were played that are rarely on the setlist, like Right in Two, Pushit, Sober or even the Grudge. So really an exclusive show!
Only 'downer': during the whole Corona time the measures didn't bother me but on this unique evening I found it a real pity not to be able to stand in the front row and dance, sing and celebrate with other people jostling and sweating.
But that too will come again :-)
Rock-on-point. Likeable guys. The vibe of the whole concert was really unique.
And what I like about this band in general: the music is rough and gives you a good kick, but at the same time it's well thought out, harmonic and not trashy - but grown up.

Thanks - you must have been just a few seats along from where we were sitting. Incredible show. Waited 25 years for it and it didn’t disappoint. These guys are on another level with the whole journey they take you through.

What a great evening! To be honest, I came with mixed feelings, but the concert was fantastic. I am still excited!

@@craighood915 Depends on the security guys I guess but in Hamburg they were pretty serious. But for the last song everyone was kind of officially invited to film/ take pics. All in all this improves the live experience for me as only for the last song phones block your vision.

Same here. Saw Tool in the States 2 months ago and security was RELENTLESS. So many people got kicked out.
Easy solution: Stop filming every shit and enjoy the gig! Should be a rule for every concert!
@@b.w.1704 dude, it could've been my only one chance to see Tool live, i did want to have so memories, I agree 50% with you, I'm not used to record at concerts but it was Tool. Not everyone have the money or the time to go to every concert they make, so STFU :)
