- The World Cup Champion U.S. Women’s National Team continued its Victory Tour with an 8-0 win against Haiti in front of a record crowd of 35,753 at Legion Field in Birmingham, Ala. The crowd was the largest ever for a stand-alone WNT match in the southeastern United States.

+dev wild Definitely agree with this! She is a complete player. Her passing ability is amazing not to mention she has great vision on the pitch. I definitely want to see her perform at the next World Cup.

Why she wasn't on the final WWC squad is something that's beyond my comprehension. But, hey, JJ wasn't supposed to be on the final 23, either, and look how turned out for her. I hope her relationship with that NFL player can survive the "Will you Marry Me" Signs by young fans........

We were there at that game! Felt bad for the Haiti keeper though especially when she got a knee to her head. She went off on a stretcher.

Great contribution from Alex Morgan, scoring a goal, creating a penalty later converted by Lloyd, and an assist for another of Carli's goals.
Carli is on a hat trick streak! Most people are happy with one game with a hat trick. She's bunching them together!
Dunn moves like she's shot out of a cannon. I can't wait to see her and a healthy Morgan on the same pitch.
In 2011 the US looked like they were moving in slow motion compared to the French. Having Crystal in the back line should be an incredible help to the defense too.

I love how humble carli lloyd is after scoring every goal she is a true leader and can beat abbys record and she will carry on the team. (no disrespect to abby though she is great)

Hand Carli Lloyd the FIFA world player of the year award already. Seriously. Also, Alex still missing her finishing touch.. Starting to get impatient 😓 you got this Alex! We know how good you can be! (2011/2012) also, Crystal Dunn has proved her point and would love to see her as a consistent starter on the wing now. Her and Pinoe the USAs best combo IMO.

Women's game still has a lot of ways to go. Lack is tactical discipline and ball retention.
This game doesn't matter, what matters is the crowd that put money in to the USWNT pocket. Again, Haitians didn't loose nothing either because they are going home with few dollars in their pocket. Please US soccer federation we need a strong and organized foreign national teams to compete with. At least those who can give USWNT tough time so spectators can enjoy the clash of the titans while the field grasses will suffer.

+charles king Fall/winter/early spring are really bad times to get many top overseas teams to play here - their leagues and many cup tournament games ongoing. Our teams have to go over there to have any chance of a friendly.
+charles king Don't worry too much about that. The USWNT is deep enough to have two competitive teams, and they can always practice against each other (more competition than most other women's teams will provide them). Plus they have the league. If they are desperate with strong competition, they can always play against the U-17 US boys.

+Randall Dubin It was a congenital problem with her foot/ankle - a tiny bone that started giving her pain at times in the last year or so. She had surgery to remove it.
She's ready to play now. She's an available bench player. They thought she was gonna be out for 3 months but she fully recovered after a month and a half

uswnt just won the world cup. they should be playing against teams that are at their level. the women haitian team isn't like the men. I'm haitian. the Americans should played against brazil or England or canada.
Imagine if the men's team could destroy any team in their path like the women do. Maybe someday? (unlikely)
