This interview was filmed in 1999 and he said he wanted to raise his (then) baby girl in Europe - not in the States - because of the insanity of gun violence in America. It is now May, 2022 - on the heels of the tragic mass shooting in Uvalde, Texas where 14 2nd, 3rd & 4th graders were murdered by an 18 year old with an assault rifle. 23 years later and nothing has changed. Horrific. Meanwhile, the jury is deliberating - curious if they will find for Johnny or Amber. In this interview, Johnny touchingly talks of how his 6 month old baby girl “gave him life”. I’m sure he never imagined what he’d later endure.
