    Hello Mark, good to bump into you earlier today (not literally thankfully)! You certainly do not mess around with getting the videos turned around, so good job. Your videos certainly helped shape my decision to get my 2020 MT09, so thanks and don’t be shy to mention it to guys at Crescent if it helps you to continue to deliver these informing videos. Underseat exhaust's are trash, gets the seat too hot, less space in rear tail unit and most importantly its better to have it lower to have a low centre of gravity so you can flip the bike quicker.

      @grey5135 Před 2 lety

      Lmaooo maybe more like an hour or 2 a month 😂. But yeah I agree it's not something you want to ride every day especially if you ride on the streets where there is traffic and stop lights and cops it's just no fun because you can't really push the bike into the revs it wants to be in.... I'd much rather have an MT10 for my main bike... the R1 makes an awesome 2nd or 3rd bike though.

    • @SJ_999
      @SJ_999 Před 2 lety

      @@grey5135 this is what I’m looking at for a 2nd bike. I find myself going top speed 140mph every time I take my bike out no matter if it’s the interstate or a country back road. Or a bmw1000rr so I can have cruise control. I’d get a Harley but I like going fast too much plus they’re a rip off

    Don't think it is as pretty as previous offerings. The R1 always was a very nice looking bike. This one seems a bit Terminator akin to the MT range to me, not a look I'm overly keen on.

R1 s have a claimed 198 hp ...you only notice the extra power at the top end of the revs in Normal riding say in the midrange the 04 model is probably stronger ...all very well these bikes having 200 hp at the top but something has to suffer which is usually the mid range

    • @markpulling12
      @markpulling12  Před 3 lety

      Hi not quite as strong at say 3-4 k but these modern 1000s rev higher to make more power....but it's amazing ....it revs so fast and freely that before you know it your entering into it's insane midrange 6-7 k and it's literally going ballistic by then
      So yes definitely a five star engine
