I feel so sad for the family and friends of the woman who was shot without reason...I agree, if a police person has a record of 'issues' there needs to be counseling for PTSD, intervention to make sure the person doesn't act out in such awful violence. And sounds like she was rebuking something dark she felt, it wasn't personal most likely, and certainly not any reason to kill someone. We need more accountability..

I am not advocating for the police man but you have to take in consideration that criminals are at another level nowadays, making the cops more cold-blooded. It is unfortunate that the lady got shot but I don't think it was a racial crime. The police man did not know how to descalate the situation and used bad judgement, period. He should be held accountable and officers should be retrained. Nowadays every is now portrait as discrimination ( race, gender, sexuality). Police officers risk their lives everyday and should not be misjudged or disrespected for the actions of one cop.
Anyone with a Miilitary Bad Conduct Discharge should never be hired as a police Officer
