Lawrence, you are a true patriot! If we had more people like you, the world would not be in this messed up predicament! By the way, my real name is David Misner and I live in Boise, Idaho. There are many of us out here that are like minded liberty folks! Keep up the great work!!
if you pay close attention, the cop is called on by his supervisor to explain the situation, apparently there was an open door and movement suggestive that the suspect may have taken refuge in the domicile
i just got a reply from the poster of the video answering what exactly went down: they saw suspicious activity in the windows... aka my neighbors hiding in the basement when SWAT comes guns blazing through the backyard". they didn't search the inside of my house but trash cans searched etc... the talk about the open door and movement inside was about me filming this. edited for character limits, no essential meaning changed, double check with the poster if you doubt. probable cause: check
The Police were following every lead that was sent to them....suspicious packages to anything else....it went on all day! THanks WPD for not giving up outside the parameter. Also to the homeowner who called!
A very valid theory. See how far the people will allow them to go. However, with no context for THIS video, and no description, who knows what was going on.
Good points. Without even a description who knows when, where, or what the circumstances were. For all we know it was weeks, months, or longer in the past. It didn't look good, and I generally distrust the government and know they WILL violate the rights of citizens, but this video, with no context, tells us NOTHING.
“But whether the Constitution really be one thing, or another, this much is certain - that it has either authorized such a government as we have had, or has been powerless to prevent it. In either case it is unfit to exist.” - Lysander Spooner's "No Treason: The Constitution of No Authority"
correction: the author of the video confirms that was not the reason. the open door was her filming. (the cops didnt care because they had nothing to hide). the reason for the search is these idiots decided to a) hide in the basement and b) keep peeking furtively out the windows, so when the cops saw that they thought what any RATIONAL person would think: that could be our guy.
Exigent Circumstance has no set "provision", the cases you quote apply to Criminal cases or cases of exception (i.e, a fire being responded to), not Acts of Terrorism. Exigent Circumstance can be argued in a case-by-case basis, but case law does not provide a basis for an excuse in violating an entire cities 4th Amendment Right. Additionally, mind you, it was an average citizen that found the suspect, hours after the city wide lock-down and search was suspended.
Who is saying they had no warrant? There was a knock, and permission could have been granted by the owner (it looked like a multi-tenant house or frat house). Lets hear from the occupants if this is really what it's framed to be.
I have no doubt that you know that better than most. Many hiring managers will look not only the eduction, but also someone's ability to finish a commitment. Something Lawrence Kelley was unable to do. Perhaps the origin of chip on his shoulder.
there is. for example the fact that this house was the exception not the rule. most folks just had a knock at the door from a cop checking if everything was ok did they need anything and moving on to the next house. or the fact that the so-called lockdown was an advisory not an order, and those who chose not to comply were free to do so as long as they kept to safe areas, even crossing the perimeter in some cases to buy groceries.
in point of fact, they absolutely, positively DID have probable cause under the circumstances prevailing at the time. dangerous fugitive known to be in area, furtive movements in the basement windows. there's not a lawyer on the planet who won't tell you that in that set of circumstances, a policeman has not only the right but the DUTY to check it out; and at that point, just a verbal ok from the resident is no longer sufficient grounds for clearing that domicile because possible hostage sitch
because there is a massive dragnet for a dangerous subject, there are 9000 armed police officers sweeping the neighborhood who had been since 130 that morning running on adrenaline and coffee and they didn't want anyone getting twitchy and shooting an innocent civilian
I don't mean to belittle the situation, but...I couldn't get the thought of a "clown car" out of my head watching all those people coming out of the house....cue circus music.
What begs to question is why was this the only house on the block they searched like this? Obviously the house with the camera in it wasn't searched this way. Nor the one across the street. This house was targeted. And a LOT of young people in it. Perhaps it was a frat house or known hangout of the suspect? Perhaps there was a warrant? (Remember, only the homeowner see's the warrant...not all occupants). Lets get the whole story, seems fishy to me.
Hey Teamstered, thanks for sharing this vid: Just wondering if you filmed this video and if this was during the 'lockdown' there? Loads of folk sayin' it's a hoax!!
While the situation is in no way ideal, I've yet to see any actions that I think were excessive. Was anyone detained after it was ensured that the suspect was not present? Were any possessions seized as a result of the searches? Was anyone abused during the searches? Were residents free to return to their homes after it was confirmed that the suspect was not present? So far, I see a lawful manhunt with a minimum of action as required to clear and move on.
midway one cop seems to be explaining why they were scrutinizing this particular house...something about an open door and movement. i assume the poster is the camera person? has your neighbor told you anything about what prompted the extra attention?
If you don't know who he is associated with and it could be possible they are harboring him. When your dealing with someone who already blew up people, killed a cop and knows his brother is dead should you just approach this situation relaxed? Maybe a hand shake and polite conversation with the home owners and just hope for the best. Why even wear a vest or use a gun, people are honest they will just tell you if they are involved.
I think this is an example of what preppers were warning the sheep about back when it wasn't fashionable to talk about this stuff. Now it is too late to do anything. The nation is finished.
And after all of this, a resident discovered the terrorist in his boat and VOLUNTARILY called the authorities. This should NEVER be okay with anyone. Imagine if this was you. Imagine if you had your kids with you. And to rub salt into the wound: our own government let these 2 in the country, gave them welfare and an education. I do now recognize my country anymore. Thank you Obama. You made good on your promise to "fundamentally change" America.
Another time I was on the side of the road changing a falt tire. Fl trooper pulls up behind me and wants to ssee my DL. Same response from me. No probable cause. Again same thing happened another cop showed up and after back and forth they backed off. I stated you already know who I am by my freakin tag as well as my DL's current status. I don't comply to unconstitutional requests. They hate that.
I don't "hate cops" just have dislike for the abuse of people in their won homes who are already scared of harm & these cops are yelling at them like their potential suspects based on what I saw with my own eyes. Totally unnecessary, period.
You know in reality they should have just put out constant BOLOs, and station elements at major intersections... After all, a citizen found him 0.6 miles away from the point where they allegedly "lost" him.
Just so you know, putting a non-real name isn't a sign of being scared. It's showing the ptb that you won't hand your info over to them easily. Everytime youtube asks me to change my name I ignore it as it is a sign of protecting privacy which is just as important as any other right. You can fight non-violently by educating the minions that they are not to obey unlawful orders, and instead of shouting and whining use the power of truth to calm them down. They have been brainwashed.
This is a test to see how easily people will comply. This is disgusting and was uncalled for, all for one man??? Na there is more to this than meets the eye!!! .
no dog or scanner thingy (if there is one?)with them when the 'suspects' primary weapon is homemade bombs. citizens forced outside when the area is still 'unsafe'? shouldn't they have been put in a 'safe' area of the house and 'protected' instead? they didn't even try to look like they were doing what they suggest.
Hey namastegirly, could you possibly confirm 100% for folks here on YT who don't live in Watertown, that this is as you say: very close to where you live and definitely Watertown? Thanks!!
It's because they know that the rest of the people in the neighborhood is watching and that they are scared and that's what they really want. To test out martial law and make us believe that it is the new norm.
I can accept the fact that there are terrorists who hate us, and will sometimes commit acts of terrorism that kill innocent Citizens. I get that. And I'm not afraid of it. What I AM afraid of is every cop in the U.S. acting like the jackbooted thugs in this video. What IS terrorism? Setting off bombs, or terrorizing innocent people under the color of law enforcement? I won't trade one terrorist 1,000 miles away for 1,000 terrorists one mile away.
So where did the people go? Did I miss them going back into their house? Was this the only house on the street they did this to? Why am I more confused lol
Frisking and taking down names. They always want to see your id. Cop drove by my house about 3 in the morning and I was listening to music and getting my new gargage organised. He walked up and wanted to know who I was and why i was in my garage at 3 AM since it seemed an unuuals time to be unpacking from a move. I refused and told him he had no probable cause and to get off my property. His supervisor showed up and again asked for my id. I repeated my response and the y then left. Assholes!!!!
Thats what a Martial law will look like in a few years from now, basically thats a training for them. we might call it a man hunt but this is a training processes for them.
I have no need to be anonymous since all I do is speak the truth from what I read and see. You really think you got privacy from the feds on Utube or Google, or Yahoo, or Bing, or whatever? That really gave me a good laugh in my belly. Thanks.
Lawrence, you are a true patriot! If we had more people like you, the world would not be in this messed up predicament! By the way, my real name is David Misner and I live in Boise, Idaho. There are many of us out here that are like minded liberty folks! Keep up the great work!!
Ahh, the sound of sanity and fresh air...thank god there is still some left somewhere
Thank you, sir. It was intended to be a paraphrase of Spooner.
if you pay close attention, the cop is called on by his supervisor to explain the situation, apparently there was an open door and movement suggestive that the suspect may have taken refuge in the domicile

edited for character limits, no essential meaning changed, double check with the poster if you doubt.
probable cause: check
some homeowners did say no and were not bothered. midway the cop seems to explain to a supervisor the reason for the scrutiny.
The Police were following every lead that was sent to them....suspicious packages to anything else....it went on all day! THanks WPD for not giving up outside the parameter. Also to the homeowner who called!
A very valid theory. See how far the people will allow them to go. However, with no context for THIS video, and no description, who knows what was going on.
nobody else was hiding in the basement, everyone else was peeking out the windows or stepping onto the porch
Thank you for posting this.
At that rate, it should take about 20 years to do a house-to-house search.
Good points. Without even a description who knows when, where, or what the circumstances were. For all we know it was weeks, months, or longer in the past.
It didn't look good, and I generally distrust the government and know they WILL violate the rights of citizens, but this video, with no context, tells us NOTHING.
Thank you for posting this. I live VERY close to here and it is just scary. Not the bombing, the police state bs.
“But whether the Constitution really be one thing, or another, this much is certain - that it has either authorized such a government as we have had, or has been powerless to prevent it. In either case it is unfit to exist.”
- Lysander Spooner's "No Treason: The Constitution of No Authority"
great vid, ty for you duty to show this to the people
Finally someone with a little common sense. Every little bit helps. The police are always accused of going too far and not far enough.
correction: the author of the video confirms that was not the reason. the open door was her filming. (the cops didnt care because they had nothing to hide). the reason for the search is these idiots decided to a) hide in the basement and b) keep peeking furtively out the windows, so when the cops saw that they thought what any RATIONAL person would think: that could be our guy.
im a young combat vet myself. I now have an undying hate toward the cops. We had stronger restrictions clearing doors in iraq
because the owners were hiding in the basement furtively peeking out the windows. if i saw that, i'd think it was the perp too. so would you.

No matter what other idiots argue, this is a genius comment!
Who is saying they had no warrant? There was a knock, and permission could have been granted by the owner (it looked like a multi-tenant house or frat house). Lets hear from the occupants if this is really what it's framed to be.

"..knocked on the door and were give the go head to enter the house"
NOT what it looked like to me!!!!
just because there was a ruling doesn't make it justified nor morally right to do this now.
there is. for example the fact that this house was the exception not the rule. most folks just had a knock at the door from a cop checking if everything was ok did they need anything and moving on to the next house. or the fact that the so-called lockdown was an advisory not an order, and those who chose not to comply were free to do so as long as they kept to safe areas, even crossing the perimeter in some cases to buy groceries.
There is a difference between a "police response" and a "police state".
I'm 2:30 in and I'm already sick to my stomach.
in point of fact, they absolutely, positively DID have probable cause under the circumstances prevailing at the time. dangerous fugitive known to be in area, furtive movements in the basement windows. there's not a lawyer on the planet who won't tell you that in that set of circumstances, a policeman has not only the right but the DUTY to check it out; and at that point, just a verbal ok from the resident is no longer sufficient grounds for clearing that domicile because possible hostage sitch

They're loving this.
They better have had a warrant for this.
I don't mean to belittle the situation, but...I couldn't get the thought of a "clown car" out of my head watching all those people coming out of the house....cue circus music.
It's only valid when we uphold it. It is just paper after all. Unfortunately nowadays most people don't even know what it says.
Apparently thousands of officers and dogs couldnt find 1 bleeding teenager under a boat tarp....Ah, yes. Good job!
Hey Teamstered, thanks for sharing this vid:
Just wondering if you filmed this video and if this was during the 'lockdown' there? Loads of folk sayin' it's a hoax!!
Your wonderful Constitution would NEVER allow this, but it didn't prevent it, either. So how is that document even valid?
I remember when I was in Marine Corps bootcamp getting yelled at by the drill instructors while in line like the cop did at 1:50
While the situation is in no way ideal, I've yet to see any actions that I think were excessive.
Was anyone detained after it was ensured that the suspect was not present?
Were any possessions seized as a result of the searches?

Very well stated sir.
I think this is an example of what preppers were warning the sheep about back when it wasn't fashionable to talk about this stuff. Now it is too late to do anything. The nation is finished.

I really want to know if they have a warrant
I don't "hate cops" just have dislike for the abuse of people in their won homes who are already scared of harm & these cops are yelling at them like their potential suspects based on what I saw with my own eyes. Totally unnecessary, period.
25 years ago , Conservatives used to joke about the People's Republic of Massachusetts. Now it's no joke.
You know in reality they should have just put out constant BOLOs, and station elements at major intersections... After all, a citizen found him 0.6 miles away from the point where they allegedly "lost" him.
And despite the sobering disregard for their right to be secure, the stupid cops let the bad guy slip past.
Just so you know, putting a non-real name isn't a sign of being scared. It's showing the ptb that you won't hand your info over to them easily. Good job Teamstered!
well, if there were a lot more armed home owners we wouldn't need house to house searches. we would need more morticians.
Hey, constitutionalists...your document either allows this to happen or it is powerless to prevent it. Which is it?
I don't know if you are saying to check probable cause...or that they HAD probable cause ....because they did not have probable cause
The door was closed, dude.
Can we know more about this house search. Was it warranted? What happen? Any news articles?
did you find out why that house, did they search any other houses near by it\?
That is messed up. Freedom being trampled. We are all witnessing the demise of our country.
Why isn't this allowing me to share to FB?
were is the miltia....is that what there waiting on to be at their door
Why do they have to put their hands on their heads?
This is a test to see how easily people will comply. This is disgusting and was uncalled for, all for one man??? Na there is more to this than meets the eye!!! .
When are the moletov cocktails going to be served?
Just curious, did this make you feel safer or did it feel like a violation?
no dog or scanner thingy (if there is one?)with them when the 'suspects' primary weapon is homemade bombs. citizens forced outside when the area is still 'unsafe'? shouldn't they have been put in a 'safe' area of the house and 'protected' instead? they didn't even try to look like they were doing what they suggest.
that is such bull shit -- all they had to do was wait till someone seen him again like the 1st time.
Hey namastegirly, could you possibly confirm 100% for folks here on YT who don't live in Watertown, that this is as you say: very close to where you live and definitely Watertown? Thanks!!
as long as this took they someone had time to dig a hole put him in it and the grass would have been grown back just saying -- this shits crazy..

all i see is police searching for a suspect, and taking every precaution.
what kind of bull is this and now, you never seem to hear them yell that we have a warrent...
But then again warrants seem to be a thing of the past.
Absolutely disgusting! I feel like I'm going to vomit!
So where did the people go? Did I miss them going back into their house? Was this the only house on the street they did this to? Why am I more confused lol

What is to keep them from making a story up to enter our homes? Oh wait.....
dat video length.
Does this make you feel safe?
Now that is a comment and then some!
We'll see Monday, if he makes it to Monday.
Wow, even the helmets look like SS helmets.
Ahhh but they're taking credit for it.
why are there so many people in that house lol
not like in CSI Miami... uh also Vermin Supreme sent me here
It's like a clown car, they keep coming out...
HEY WHAT DO U THINK ABT THAT GUY GLENN BECK U THINK THERES ANY TRUTH TO WHAT HE HAS TO SAY ?
I don't understand what's going on here... From what I see, this team is arresting innocent people in search for the perps of the Boston bombing?
Innocent people treated like criminals? Glad I don't live in the US.
Thats what a Martial law will look like in a few years from now, basically thats a training for them. we might call it a man hunt but this is a training processes for them.

true.
come out with your hands on your head... if you feel like it.
2:36 The cops are searching for a suspect. Why, then, would they be frisking the homeowners?
Welcome to Amerika.
hehe someones been watching "The Patriot" ;-p
Look at the sheep, getting herded like cattle.
I use what they call reality glasses. Tinfoil hats are of old age technology now.
This is disgusting to watch. This is what Martial Law looks like.
