Very interesting, well done! Can I ask you if it's better to be expert with kayak or similar? I'm quite trained , praticing a lot of outdoor trekking rock climbing ecc, but I've never salied with kayak.. I'd like to explore the islands this way.

Just getting to the first island is not that far. The problem is that the rental shop opens so late and closes so early. If you have your own kayak and can start at like 8:00 and come back around sunset it would be perfect.
We were there in the second week of June as well. The weather is bad now. But, please do not rely on this long term forecasts. Second week of June shoul be perfect don't worry too much about it. They don't call it "sunčani Hvar" (sunny Hvar for nothing.

We are not professional kayakers so you should be fine. If the weather is nice with no strong winds it is not a problem.

Right from Amfora Hvar Grand beach resort. It was also the only place where we found kayaks. ;)
