I thought our family was "complete" adopting just once from China...but...we just brought another child home from China 2 months ago...our 4th child from China in the last 6 years!!! As a family of 8 now with 6 kids aged 22-5, we still dont think we are done!!! LOL. Little Londyn...welcome home!! Loved your video! God Bless!!!!!
@ce collie I used to think...adopting one child would complete our family, all these kids later and I am in awe honestly. Many adoptive families have told me that most people go on to adopt more kids. I did not feel that would be us and IF we adopted more, it would be two adoptions and then we would stop. I know downdeep there will be one more child for our family, maybe two more before we are done, finally!!! Why I had to write this. For those who have adopted already, I have heard the remark said "Adoption, hard to start and even harder to stop" I agree. LOL 😲😁

I have seen hundreds of China adoption videos, and I always think that with the videos that are posted, I am sure there are quite a large number of families who don’t. Hubby now wishes he would have done it sooner like I wanted too...because He loves adopting now!!!!! My second oldest ( once the youngest) used to beg me for a younger sibling....he is now 20, is in college online to be a Pastor and Teacher....and stays home fulltime to homeschools the kids, and invests all his time into them. This has been a dream come true for him and he is the primary one who has and still does encourage us to adopt!!!!! 😁😁😁😁 If your kids are asking you to adopt...may want to consider it....😁😁😁😁 Especially, if you truly feel led to go for it....so many kids wait and adoptions are at an all time low....kids just arent getting families now. I never went into adoption bcause I could not have more biological kids, or to save a child, I just wanted to always adopt...but once we began adopting, we closed the bio route down for good. As adoption clearly was and is our Plan A. So ya, I encourage anyone who is interested to adopt, to do it, because its so worth it. Yes its not at all entirely easy, our first adoption was a disaster....she came home with unknown severe difficult diagnoses and she will never recover 😢 after what she went through in her orphanage. But we learned from that adoption, and went on to adopt 3 more which have been completely opposite from that first expeience...so yes there is good and bad in adoption...but we still would do it all over again, our kiddos are all such blessings that we could have missed had we not jumped and said YES!!

I often wonder how the children act when they go back to their foster family’s/ orphanage to visit. It must be so confusing to the little ones. She’s so sweet! I love her little dance. And her puffy lips are adorable 💕

I could never bring myself to go through with the adoption process. The paperwork is staggering, the scrutiny is humiliating and the expenses are astronomical. As an atheist, I lack the religious motivation to adopt that is shown in 99% of these adoption videos. You really need a deep desire to be a parent to go through with it to the end. Sometimes I wish I could have kept going as now I will never be a father. Such are the choices we make in this life.
I'm sure you would have been a good father, just by the fact that you've thought about adopting. It is a massive step to climb, and I don't know why they make it so hard, and why it costs so much. It isn't justified, so where does the money go? The orphanages are full of children who would be far better off going to a family. They should be paying the families! It doesn't make sense to me. They usually are abandoned as newborns, so it would make sense all around to give the child up to a family asap so they don't need to go through all the difficulties of bonding with the foster family then go through it all again. They treat it like a business and pretty much prey on the people who are desperate for a child. It must be great for their economy. It makes me sad that all those children don't have to be in these orphanages.
I would have loved to adopt but the prices r insane for children who have nobody....seems they would make it way cheaper and easier to adopt.i mean who cares if you are not wealthy or who cares if your over a certain age ECT,the kids are pretty much better off anywhere than alot of the orphanages I've seen...heck let people take them and have social services do follow ups instead of the insane paperwork and hoops u gotta jump through. There are so many children in more poor orphanages who don't even get taken out of there cribs all day,yet so many people here who would love them so much.but only the very lucky get to adopt..so sad for all those waiting children
I realize now that final visit to the orphanage is actually for the adults, the staff who've been taking care of the babies. They are happy for the babies, of course, but it would definitely take an emotional toll on them to see those precious babies leave.

Feed her carrot, potatoes, onions +chic soup wt rice ..she will love it..one of the chinese broth for little ones..preferably no cold drinks for young ones not healthy at all..allow me to share cos i hv gone thru raising children..warm soup n warm water..
I tell those parents who leave these precious child they are the one who should be mentioned as orphans. Little babies they are from god and they are should be mentioned as god's children , no orphans any more

It's a very difficult process and not something everyone can or should do unless you truly want it. I'm so grateful we did it, but it was tough

It's good closure for all involved. The nannies loved her and raised her for 18 months, we are forever grateful.
