Don’t know what $-currancy you count in, is that NZD or AUD, because it can’t be USD? I went for 29 days. From Sweden. In current USD exchange I paid $1400 for all the flights GOT to Rarotonga and then to Aitutaki. That included 2 checked bags as well. We were 3 that shared a house. About $1100, with food drinks alcohol 1 hospital visit, 3 lagoon trips/water taxi, 1 day of ocean fishing for 2 and scooters my total bill was just short of USD 4000. But then, I flew all the way from Sweden.
