TIME FLIES, MIXED MEDIA ON CANVAS, Finnabair moulds

- Beautiful moulds of wings and clocks reminded me how precious and fleeting time is. Sometimes time flies as fast as if it had wings. When creating this project, time stopped for a few moments for me, and I hope it will for you too when you watch the video.
I made the decorative elements from two-component resin, coated them with transparent gesso and then painted them with brown acrylic paint and pink mica powder. To finish, I used white silver wax.

Beautiful work. I know it's been a year, but do you remember the canvas size you used?
This is absolutely gorgeous! You may have shown it, but what did you use to adhere the pieces to the canvas and each other? I use plaster pieces and haven't found the perfect adhesive yet so mixed media canvases are on the back burner for me. Thanks, Velvet

What size canvas are you using? I really like the size for that layout.
What brand of clay are you using?
What are you using with the mica powder to make it liquid, is it water or medium?
I used Prima - Art Alchemy - Liquid Acrylic - Liquid Color Fluid Medium.
Hi I have just bought my first mould, can you please tell me what medium you use for the mould is it a clay or a paste, many thanks

May I ask what brand of resin that is you use... or is it white simply because you added pigment? Also, what size is the canvas? Appreciate if you have time to answer :)
I belive it vas TFC PU casting resin 9min. The canvas size is 10 cm x 20 cm.
