Yes, sadly, a lot of our boys are ruled by their passion and lack self-control and discipline. In the worst cases, some of these end in death, and every time, they are so sorry and full of regret. Often, an ifoga is made to the victims family, but sadly, regret and sorrow can't bring someone back. We need to raise our boys to remember their bible, turn the other cheek and find mercy and forgiveness in their hearts BEFORE the first punch is thrown rather than after.

19:24 - whoever that guy in the white/blue hat is could have easily cost Samoa the Gold Medal for doing that. 3 Punches from behind, not even part of the game and Samoa is in front on the scoreboard. "King hit" punches from behind have the potential to cause death if the punch lands in the temple region of the skull. Deaths from "King hit" punches have been covered NUMEROUS TIMES in Australia and New Zealand by the media. This could have gone SO BAD for Samoa which could have had the team stripped of their Gold Medal, a fine and maybe a ban for that guy. Thank goodness the Samoa player was able to restrain the guy in the white/blue hat and shove him off while telling him off about his actions. Such a shame that happened to such a great and intense match. I wonder if the organisers of the Pacific Games or International Rugby League see this.
Exactly. For a big guy he is such a coward, you see him look around when the Fijian player was already surrounded by 2 Samoan players who already had calmed him down. Before he threw his punches he kinda did a side glance to be sure no Fijian players were around than began his assault on the first Fijian and then did it to another Fijian player. Throw this type of players or officials out of the game. What’s the use of talking about preventing head injuries when a person can walk onto the play ground and assault a player.

Watching Samoa and Fiji forever since young. I’m talking bout the island boys not overseas islanders. The fists always flew and rough as. From sevens to league. Love it! Uso’s at the end.
That was brutal. Both sides were vicious to the end, but only one team can win. Good job Samoa, and thanks to Fiji for giving us a tough game that we need to be better. We need more games like this between the islands on a yearly basis but with the 13 man game and without NRL players. I wish the scuffle in the end didn’t happen. Totally unnecessary. This is not a jungle fight where you are trying to protect your bro from a criminal; this is international sports, be professional.

As a a fijian I was very proud of our team for their sacrifice and bravery against a very physical and organized Samoan team but that last tackle was unnecessary and I should say....that act does not represent us all,but anyway congrats to toa Samoa you really did entertained me and I'm sure you made proud on your entire nation so good job and well done.

What a game. Fantastic Samoa. You played your hearts out. For Fiji, Thank you for the effort but simple mistakes costs us too much and that puts pressure without realising that there are simple opportunities if we work as a unit.
The fight that erupts after the game..that's normal. Shows moral within Camps is high. It happens everywhere. No matter what THIS IS RUGBY LEAGUE. You'll get munched, crushed, smashed, brutally bashed and take you right to the edge to bring out the man in you.
Shout out to our boso's from Viti. Little errors cost them the game but they still played well. Proud of Samoa for a hard fought game. Islander love win or lose! 🇼🇸
