    Don't know what he's talking about, the Stig is the best instructor. He doesn't need to teach by words, just actions. Never shouts at you to slow down, in fact he encourages you to speed up and drive better.

      HvbBaka Yeah, you will stall it at least a dozen times before you even get moving :P

    • @Kleavers
      @Kleavers Před 10 lety

      You don't really need the break. That's just to prevent the car from possibly moving by itself if you are on a slope or something. The tricky part isn't starting the car, it's getting it to move while standing still, as you have to somewhat carefully release the clutch while accelerating.

    • @mangoshake
      @mangoshake Před 9 lety

      ***** To start one, start in neutral. No clutch and brake needed. You're kind of missing the point, everyone can start a car actually. The point is making a manual car move. To me, it just went with time, I got used to timing the clutch the way I do, like, a new sense apart from the five senses.

    I got my license when I lived the US, but now I'm living in Tokyo, Japan. Public transportation is really good here, and so I've no need for a car. Actually, it's faster using the train than a vehicle here. In Japan there are a lot of people who don't have a driver's license and will most likely never need to even own a car.
