  • Prolific is an original short film about Isaiah Thomas' rise in popularity during his time with the Boston Celtics, thanks to his MVP-level performances despite being only 5'9.
    The story of Isaiah Thomas is filled with some of the highest highs, and lowest lows, we've ever seen on an NBA court. In the midst of his journey, is an incredible lesson of what it means to bet on yourself and wait for the right opportunity. His time with the Celtics saw him become a two-time All Star, and lead the storied franchise all the way to the Eastern Conference Finals, despite dealing with some incredible adversity. In the end, his story is one that anyone can appreciate and learn from. The Marathon Continues.

    From Mr Irrelevant to MVP candidate to journeyman. A Greek tragedy. There will be a movie, for sure.

      No doubt! His journey is unlike anything we've seen at the NBA level.

      That's a fact!! And to do it at his size is unheard of. Heart over height!

    Man was games away from a max or near max deal. His body let him down at the worst possible time. It's just another lesson to look after yourself, because you can't count on your team having your back. For everyone that cried about Kawhi using his own doctors, this is why.

    • @TriceOfficial
      @TriceOfficial  Před rokem +4

      This is one of the most heartbreaking parts of the story to me. He was due for a payday that would change his family for generations and it all fell apart. I never have a problem with players making the call on their own bodies and staying loyal to themselves first, we see franchises do it all the time.

      His body didn't "let him down". KAT landed on him and team doctor said it's just a bone bruise. 🙄🙄

    I really enjoyed this. I was one of those people that felt like Boston should have at least gave him one more season to recover. I do feel like they did him wrong

      I agree, I hated the way his time in Boston ended. They didn't give him any chance to recover or evaluate his status. Just dealt him at first opportunity when they sensed something was wrong. I understand it's a business, but for a guy to sacrifice himself and play through the stuff he did that final season, just to be dealt, has never set right with me. Glad you enjoyed the project!

      The brinks truck was not going to happen ppl! Not after doctors notes about him not being the same again.

      @@Cmor617 Oh no doubt, he wasn't getting the payday after the injury. I'm more so speaking to how 1. It's unfortunate that the injury happened before the big payday/after the Celtics didn't advise him on the severity of the injury and 2. How the Celtics didn't still try to keep him, even for less than his initial asking price, after all he did for the franchise.

      @@TriceOfficial i love IT, I would still love to have him back. But on the business side I understand the move that was made. I also do agree that we could of done something in return for him. Even recently…He gave us some good times and will always appreciate what he did for us.

    I have been paying attention to him since college, he is amazing, the league is about politics. He needs a chance a real chance to proof himself once again. #slowgeing

    Growing up in South Florida I was oddly a Celtics fan as a kid as I had just started watching basketball in 2008 when they won the championship with the big 3 and I guess I joined the bandwagon. But throughout the years I really grew to love the franchise and it's history and I followed it throughout the end of that squads run and into the short-lived IT era. He was my favorite player and as a normal sized player dominating a league of giants he was like a hero to me. When they traded him I stopped rooting for the Celtics forever and felt so betrayed. And even with hindsight I think it was the wrong decision. IT loved Boston and Boston loved him. Danny Ainge is a snake.

      I was never a Celtics fan, but fell in love with Isaiah Thomas' game and his grind to improve early in his career. Loved seeing him reach the heights he touched in Boston, and to this day I've rooted for him to find some traction in the league again.

      @@nikewarrior24 lol I loved that rivalry between the Heat and that older big 3 team. Those 2011 and 2012 series were super fun to watch, 2012 is my favorite series ever. But after they traded IT in 2017 I did a full 180 and became a Heat fan.
