The QE2: Queen of Ships (1994)

A program on the daily lives, facts, and history of the ocean liner Queen Elizabeth 2, flagship of the Cunard Line which served from 1969 to 2008. Here, we also see a typical voyage of great service and comforts available on one of the world's most famous ships and among the very last of her kind. The Queen Mary 2 would eventually take over completely the historic North Atlantic route. The 'QE2' is currently at Dubai fulfilling, in phases, her role as a hotel and convention center ship very much like one of her immediate predecessors, the Queen Mary in Long Beach, California.

IN 1973 I WAS IN 8TH GRADE AND I LIVE IN FT.LAUDERDALE , FLORIDA. THE QE2 WAS IN AND GOING ON A CRUISE, I WAS ABLE TO GET ON BORD FOR ABOUT A HOUR 1/2 . OH YEAH WELL TOP THIS IN 1969 I WAS ABLE TO TAKE A TOUR OF THE QUEEN ELIZABETH 1 🚢🚢🚢 😆😁 !!!
