Making a simple leather flashlight holster for the light I carry every day

Just a quick leather craft project made with just hand tools from scrap leather in less than an hour. Since I was just making this for myself I made it plain and minimalist. This is a simple design and can be adapted to fit a lot of different things. Basically just a cartridge loop sewn to a back plate with a spring belt clip attached to it.

Exactly what I'm looking to do. Where are you getting your belt clips?

I usually buy them from Tandy leather. They seem to be thicker metal and stronger than clips I have bought from other suppliers. Their SKU number is 1240-00.

I use the version from Tandy, but at a guild meeting someone had the irons from Weaver and those seemed to be much better quality.
