My FO: a sweet shawl using Yarn Experiments Suri Monkey in Leo and Pura Paz.
My WIPS:
- Perri's Brioche Pup Sweater (by Westknits) using Malabrigo Rios Black and Ritual Dyes Alabaster.
- Little shawl using 1 skein of Magpie Fibers Plume in Velvet Underground.
- Colorwork Sweater using Magpie Fibers Feather in 4 different colors.
I love that Perri loves you so much, you’ve made a probably lonely dog seemingly very happy ❤️

Hi Joji. Thank you for this lovely episode of your journal. I really enjoyed it. The shawl is fab! I have 2 family weddings to attend next year and I think this shawl will be on my list for the wedding outfits! Also the colourwork jumper is amazing too. And I think the simple cardigan to wear over your black outfits will be a hit as we all wear lots of black so I think many will relate with this. You always have such great ideas and you are such a kind and lovely soul. Enjoy Italy and remember to "be kind to yourself" 🧶❤🧶❤

You are a beautiful person Joji ❤Your mohair colorwork is stunning I can’t wait to knit it- I love it when you talk about your fitness journey - I’m a 52 years old ultra trail runner and I have just started taking strength training seriously these last couple of years - I’m as passionate about running as I am about knitting so your podcast is just perfect 🤩🤩 the body soreness and joint pain are a beautiful part of my athletic life😊and of course for me the relationship between strength and cardio is an eternal struggle 😂 I wish I could only run everyday without rest days or strength sessions but that’s of course not possible in my age - I’m glad to say that the strongest I have ever felt have been the last 10 years throughout corona, hysterectomy and menopause nothing helped me as much as running and working out followed by long hours of knitting . It's always so lovely to spend time with you, Joji. I find you always inspire me in some way... through your knitting and creativity, of course, but also how you approach life, for example. You are already in Italy now, and I hope you are having and will continue to have, a wonderful time there! It's my home country though I don't live there. I don't usually have FOMO (I am content with what I can do), but for some reason I would have particuarly liked to be there with you and the other knitters in this retreat! Perhaps one day I'll be able to join an event like this. (And I do get the anxiety bit, as well). Take care, love your t-shirt with that important reminder! ❤
Perfect timing for your new video as I was thinking about you. Glad you are doing well. Have fun in Italy. On my vacations I use the terrain to determine what type of exercise I do, hilly walking can be just as tiring as running. Also sightseeing on foot is a great way to get exercise in.

It’s lovely to “see” you again! I hope your trip to Italy with your son brings you great joy. I’m working on your Elton Pullover with Moon Glow Fuwa Fuwa and Merino Linen. Fingers crossed when it blocks I can stretch it enough to wear. Otherwise my very small friend will have a lovely sweater. This is my first pattern of yours and I LOVE how well written it is. Now I knit Elton pullover, in Holst supersoft, Sweet Pea and mohair yarn from Isager color 62. It looks good, just tried it. Thanks for your recipe. ❤

I was working on La Prairie while watching this. I came back to knitting 8/9 years ago and have been putting off knitting myself a garment until now because I've been wary of getting anything to fit well. I'm finding La Prairie's construction is really suiting me. I have a narrow back, so I cast on a smaller size, then I switched to a larger size for the length as I have an unusually long torso. I have unusually short arms and I plan to shorten each fade slightly in the sleeves. I'm really appreciating the flexibility to do this. It's taking ages but I'm so looking forward to wearing it. Thank you for a beautiful pattern!

I received your newsletter and I'm embracing the mistakes I made in my first knit cabled sweater. I will be the only one that knows the sleeve ribbing was supposed to be 2x1 for the whole circumference. The 2 lines created by the 1x1 rib on the front and back of each sleeve were symmetrically placed intentionally. Lol.
