Also on any of the balls you catch if you feel you need to improve on any of them go ahead and do the catch 20 times instead of ten. That way you improve on everyone of your angles if need be one more then others. That's how we've always done our drills and it has helped us improve on not only the throws but also on our catching skills it's good for hand to eye coordination. Practice turning at the last second before the ball gets there that way you'll learn to be quicker to move your hands to wherever the ball is. So in a real game if the QB throws the ball right before you look you can learn how to be able to move your hands to wherever the ball is.
We would also practice 15 feet apart throwing bullets while only catching with one hand do it till you can catch 10 in a roll with your right then 10 in a roll with the left hand. You'll quickly learn how to catch anything one handed.
Then after doing it from 15 away 10 times each hand do it 10 feet away. That way you'll get a lot better with quicker hand eye coordination then you'll be set anytime you play a game. I teach this to all the players I coach in high school football and they have some of the best hands and high school football.
