I haven't watched DCC in sometime, and in no way am I dismissing anyone's talent, but this routine was just mediocre. Not that my resume is anything like both Kelli and Judy, but I too coach cheer and I just feel like some of these moves are just basic. I agree - the points that they have are not fiery. Not saying not talented, but they need points with some pizazz.
The nfl cheerleaders look fantastic! They dallas cowboys cheeeleaders know how to cheer/celebrate. For 2022, they really have proved their worth. reply
They put these girls through hell just to get on the team, only for them to perform basic mediocre dances. And we clearly saw that all of them are talented but it’s the choreo. It’s so bland and generic. Use the skills they showed you that they had. Give new formations. New facials. But at least the lines were clean for the most part.
my High school cheerleader/dancer could do this in middle school.They are talented, use it♡.cute outfits, poms should have some white🤭.And some female empowerment songs/mix , to honor💗 strength💗, would have been nice... gorgeous girls..level them up;)
They also need new music for the intro dance they’ve been using thunderstruck for so long and it’s getting really old and also what is up with those pink uniforms they are so ugly
Except for the fact that they generally only get about 2 to 3 days to perfect the special routines. And getting 36 women to do it in near perfect unison, in front of 80,000 people isn't something kids or middle schoolers can accomplish. Plus, they aren't going to be giving them complex routines to learn in such short time to do as precisely as they do for a performance like this one. The normal routines they get much more practice time. As for the formations, the triangle is their signature formation. Just like their kickline. Tradition is big for DCC, they haven't even updated their uniform for like 40+ years bc tradition is what they prefer. As for the pink, I am fairly certain it was for Breast Cancer awareness.
Caroline is as bland as they come. Still confused how she made point. This routine was so fun with Rachel and Gina last year leading. Neither points this year are fun to watch. People say seniority has nothing to do with it. I guess skill doesn't either.

Am I insane or did I see Maddy dancing in this routine? Since there was no show this year I don't know too many of the new girls but I swear I saw Maddy dancing with the group!
I couldn’t tell if it was Maddie or not. But since she officially fully retired she has performed with the team! She’s one of the “doc all stars” so if someone on the current squad can’t perform the all stars temporarily fill in! I have seen Maddie, Amy and a few others perform on the field or at special appearances since they retired! Edit-I went back and took another look and I think the girl is Tyra, her and Maddie have the same kind of curly dark hair!
I was surprised by them not having stunts! The local Highschool does more complicated dances than that with extension preps. But the girls did great with the dance they were taught.
@@nylotus They’ve always been pom dancers! Never done stunts, I think there was one episode they did stunts with professionals. The name doesn’t do Justice because they are not cheerleaders ahahah. They are cheering for the team, but are pom dancers!
Traditional nfl Pom dance is played out. Teams like ravens, saints, titans, and commanders are more fun to watch. They have tricks and more upbeat choreography
I’m sorry, but Caroline and Kelcey are very boring points! My goodness. In fact, the entire squad as a whole is mediocre with seemingly no personality or real connection, and I am a huge fan of the DCC. This squad just seems off for some reason.
@@EmVee. No I mean I miss how the show went into their background stories and you got to know them in depth and watch their struggles and triumphs and fails. And sometimes you weren't even sure if they were going to make the team. I also liked watching all the rehearsals and all that
This was some of the soundtrack used for the DCC reunion performance, IIRC. My guess is that there's a reason they needed something quick that some of the women knew to put together that week.
Why those cheerleaders are so popular when they literally just kinda dance, jump split, basic easy to things. Whereas, competitive cheer actually keeps you captivated by tricks and chaos. This is just a dance really…
It’s a special halftime show. They use different costumes and different shoes. They did the same thing some years ago during a breast cancer show. The ladies were wearing pink outfits with pink shoes then got back into the uniform after it.
They certainly are not the Radio City Rockettes punching away with the Pom pons, flinging the heads and hair around, the pasted on smiles. High school cheer teams do better.

Those pink costumes are as horrendous and unflattering as they come! Ewww..bad choice!! And they don't match the poms. Should've used the white iridescence poms! Chandi, Claire, Kay Dianna, Tyra, Armani and Kat for points!!

I much prefer the pink one piece with white polka dots on it that they wore a few years ago the fringe is just really bad on these uniforms
