I tried this and controlled my foot back to the starting position (almost a deficit), and might have a new 🍑 movement. I'll definitely be using it to pre-fatigue my abductors before using the machine at my gym as a finisher for leg day 🔥 Thank you!

Hi, there is no sense to pre fatigue the muscle because you work same muscle
@ I need to because my abductors are really strong and my gyms machine doesn't have enough weight, so if I go straight there it does fuck all and I'm there for 30 reps feeling nothing But I still want the benefits of the abductor machine as a finisher etc
Supposedly, he is experimenting with stretched partials here which is supposed to be superior for hypertrophy. But I think it's supposed to be seen as another tool in the kit, not a replacement
Brett you’re the best. Also do you think you’d ever try actual gym shorts over cutoff pants? Are cutoffs more effective for mobility & ROM? Is there something you know that we don’t on this? Thank you.
I have nerve damage on my foot and I cannot stand. Putting pressure on my feet hurts . Do you have any glute exercises that I could do sitting down or laying down.
You're damaging your knees. The strap should go above the knee, not below. Also, you can get the same benefit from a static hip ABduction constrained with a pants-belt.
Just out of interest, do you have 25 years experience, qualifications to do it, PT/ founder of glute lab and published researcher over 50 studies? Bret has credentials that go on and on. What's yours that you feel you can correct him?? I think it's safe to say this guy knows what he is doing😂
@@kells1784 "...do you have 25 years experience..." No, but Drew Baye does. Go ask him if you should torque your knees to the side, when there's zero benefit to doing so. He'll tell you what I told you. I know, because I'm a member of his private forum.

Lol for real
Thanks for this video; I’m going to try it.

You realize your job is mostly geared towards women? You’re my hero.

Is this movement he is showing us supposed to be the better alternative to regular hip abductions on a cable machine?

Hi, where will I find the sports specific one? I like the sound of this

So are you training the inside glute w/out the strap, or the outer glute w/ the strap? Thanks!
🔥

fire hydrants, rainbows, leg kick backs, etc. Pilates exercises would be a good starting place for you
@@philosopherqueen4093 Thank you so much
Are you able to see a physical therapist? You could meet with one once and ask this question and get some really good workouts from them.
@@elettramia6380 Thank you. Yes. And I have a pain management
@@elettramia6380 yes I do and I also have a pain management doctor but this is new all new to me. Thank you. I will.
