    We're educating each other so we must have correct facts.
    Pension here in the UK are various. There's government pension and private pension schemes. At the moment pension age is 65 years for men and women. By the time I reach pension age, it would have risen to 67 years. Pension age keep changing in line with longevity. Pension age might be increased to 70 years for my my children.
    Private pension schemes allow individuals to retire early, i.e. 55 years. With private pension schemes, you could contribute certain percentage every month, the employer also contributes towards that scheme. One can start claiming from the private pension scheme from 55 years.
    We must all plan properly so that we wouldn't have to work until 65 years or more before we can retire on good income.
    I hope this information helps.

    My advice to this guy is that his vision to get 50000 euros and go back to Ghana for good is not bad, but he should first fight for German passport before he does that. In case anything goes bad, then he could get back to Germany his adopted country. He didn't face any bitter experience like me in Ghana before travelling that's why his hopes in Ghana is that high. I was having that his dream money when I was in Ghana but still ran away.

    Regarding the Pension it is a generational contract this guy needs more years abroad. Hmm this guy most come after 10 years again. I came to Germany in 1989 at the age of 14 what this guy is saying I just shake my head this is what most Africans think and after some years they blame others. I think he's right on what he said about pension, people got to listen to him again. I pay social security tax which the government takes from me to pay the retirement benefits of seniors. When I retire, the future labour force will pay for my pension meaning the social security taxes I'm paying today is not set aside for me to use in the future, unlike 401k(US) which is a private fund from the individual and his employer which is given as a lump sum after retirement upon meeting all tax obligations.

    • @kwasi47
      @kwasi47 Před 6 měsíci

      Your description of the social security system in America is incorrect. It’s a “pension” fund for senior citizens & also for disability for those who are incapable of working. There’s a cap as to how much you are paid according to one’s contribution. Yes it’s true current workers are paying to take care of senior citizens. BTW: I am a senior citizen collecting social security. It also has medical benefit component for seniors (Medicare).

  • @augustina8850
    @augustina8850 Před 6 měsíci +2

He purchased 20 plots of land for this amount in Ghana . So what are you talking about ? @ghsheabutterblacksoap2846 Před 6 měsíci +1

      If your story is true, sounds like a bad business strategy. The way democracy/politics works in Ghana, you can't rely on politicians for procurement contracts. Govt contracts is literally the bread and butter for most politicians. They invest in political parties to get the money back through govt contracts. It's very important to understand the dynamics before venturing into any capital intensive endeavours in GH. Better to start with basic necessities targeting the average consumer.

      @@ghsheabutterblacksoap2846 all what you know is book long way of business . There is this company in Accra called GF, they produce Antiseptics, detergents ,Air freshers , breach and other chemicals that the doctors uses during operations . It was Nana Addo Dankwa current president who came to USA New York to speak with this man to come and open the company to support the one district one factory . He came home with huge some of money to set up the company and started to employ people , for productions , logistics etc and produced in large quantities. The government then sent Osarfo Marfo to go and inspect it before they purchase the products . After the inspection they were astonished that the owner doesn’t have any foreign Aid . They then came back with their proposal again that he should give them 50% free before the government would purchase it and he refused . The Ministry of Health and other government officials did not allow the government to purchase the products from GF , they rather continue to import it so that they can inflate the receipt for the government to pay . The man ended up sacking all the employees and came back to USA 🇺🇸 and left the company behind . He is in the same company with me as I’m speaking. I have proofs and evidence to this . Many Ghanaians have the interest to invest in their own country but the government officials wouldn’t permit that except you agree to their corruptible act . Until proper measures putting in place to support the private sector the unemployment rate would continue to rise and Ghana would continue to seek for foreign aid .
