Bro, you can just press play and relax in a chair, not like you're actually creating something live. The whole spasstic DJ thing is a little ridiculous.

I don't think the talent is them mixing the music (pressing play) like in this video. The talent is the music they produce. And then of course it's fun for everyone else to watch some of their favorite artists playing their favorite music.
Other artists don't create anything live either. They just play their music that they've already created... I get it that they are more or less just pressing play but if you think about it, so are other artists. Yea they are playing the guitar or drums or singing or whatever. But isn't that just like "pressing play" for them? They do it all the time. They are professionals and can turn on that skill anytime anywhere.
I play many instruments and once I have played a song 100 times, it's like autopilot and I might as well be "pressing play"...
The point is, whether it's DJing, playing an instrument live, or singing, I think it's just about enjoying playing something you've created.
Thats called enjoying the music something you probably didnt have while listening this set :)
i think you don't understand what they are doing, but you're right if you compare live dj from now and 10+ years back. it's not always live mixing anymore, but mostly effects and smooth switchings.
