Barnsley Youth Choir - Everywhere - Senior Choir. 1st song after 14 months apart

This was the first rehearsal back after 14 months of being unable to rehearse due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Sadly this involved only half of the Senior Choir. Those over 18, some of our strongest singers, were not allowed to rehearse because of government guidance. The over 18s ‘zoomed’ into the rehearsal and joined in from their homes (you can’t hear them on this video)
This was in a new venue, socially distanced, all members sanitised and the church was ‘fogged’ before and after use. All members also wore special singing masks that they were trying to adapt to and the church was cold with all doors and windows open.
It was a really strange environment for them and they had been apart for so long. They were anxious but also pleased to be together again.
This was the first song we sang after a warm-up. It seemed to sum up how we all felt and we also wanted to thank everyone who has shown such kindness and love to our members during the last 18 months.
We are so proud of them, despite this rusty performance.
