- Not too long ago, legions of various monstrous creatures called Kaiju arose from the Pacific Ocean, bringing with them an all-consuming war against humanity. To fight the Kaiju, mankind developed monsters of our own; giant, human piloted robots called Jaegers. However, even with the mighty strength of the Jaegers victory against the Kaiju is not guaranteed.
A constant threat lingers below the sea, innovation and technology is our greatest means of ending the on-going war. Today, the newest Jaeger in the Pan Pacific Defense Corps is being launched into service. STORM GARUDA represents the pinnacle of human ingenuity; the most advance Jaeger in the fleet will give hope to all of humanity as it guards the Jakarta metropolitan area against the advancing onslaught of the ever-evolving Kaiju.

How did I not know that there's a Pacific Rim theme park ride? This is exactly the sort of thing that would be right at home at Universal Studios in Orlando. Alas, it's on the other side of the world. Looks like great fun, though!

This is pretty well done, it’s like 2 rides in one. 3 if you count the walkthrough part.
I also like how they do a bait and switch at the beginning by making you think you’re getting on a star tours style simulator of what it’s like to pilot a Jaeger, and then a real attack happens and it eventually comes full circle when you get into the real deal.

I like the concept of elemental kaiju. A natural progression from the “normal” ones. Since the precursors are ALSO innovating, like we are.
This is so amazing. Multiple rides in one. Almost a whole 15 minutes experience? Excellent idea.
This is so creative! I love the use of live actors. I hope more parks around the world will design these types of immersive and meta theatrical rides. I’d love the chance to go to Indonesia to experience this! Nice work!

I have a lot of things to say 1. The introduction to Storm Garuda reminds of the teaser for Pacific Rim Uprising. 2. The animation and scenes are more anime than live action like I expected it to be. 3. That wasn’t a man it’s a woman. And 4. Who’re those new elemental kaiju?

This one is how Mako Mori never getting back into Jaeger again like Pentecost did. But the question is, if Mako indeed piloting Storm Garuda, did she was forced to piloting Jaeger solo like Pentecost and Raleigh after her Indonesian co-pilot was killed? But if Storm Garuda did piloted by two Indonesian brothers, it didn't happened.

It's Uprising sadly but atleast the visuals are great
12:15 That looked horrible, the screens on this ride are not good, and that CGI integration was awful. The practical sets, overall story, and setup of this ride are pretty good though.
It's low budget they can't make something perfect maybe if it were at Universal Studios it would be better
