    I live in St. George Utah, this is one of the seemingly hundreds of hiking trails in and around it. When the family gets together we plan to hike a different trail each time.

    Neat place. The reason they say it looks like the inside of the bly of the dragon, is because of the ridges of the walls. They resemble ribs of an animal.
    No matter what is said, a very neat place to walk through.

    I love this part of the country. It's like you are on another planet. If you want to enjoy the more popular sites check them out on the more off-season times. I went through arches and explored off the trails and had a wonderful time.

    Wow, all the sandstone I've been around seems to be of a harder variety than this! That tunnel probably hasn't been there very long, but from what I've read, those Western flash floods are a force to be reckoned with! Around here, it takes more than a hundred years to weather anything made of sandstone. (I suddenly remembered the old margarine commercial's tag line: "It's not _nice_ to fool with Mother Nature!") Congrats, Chris, for showing it to us. Stay safe, everyone.

    That's so cool!!! I wish when we had visited Utah so many years ago we had known about places like this! It probably would have been a better choice than Timpanogus (sp?) Cave. That made me discover claustrophobia I didn't know I had!

    You should check out the website 'atlas obscura'. It shows you places that might be lesser known, although it still has a lot that's popular as well. It's worth checking when you get to a town.
