In a career spanning 15 years, Whitey Morgan has released five studio albums and a live recording from his hometown of Flint, Michigan. Additionally, he has toured relentlessly averaging over 125 shows annually. Rolling Stone has described him as a "Waylon Jennings acolyte...modern day outlaw [with a] hard-hitting blue-collar brand of music" while NPR Music hailed, "Staying close to the sound and subject matter of classic outlaw artists like Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, and David Allan Coe, Morgan is poised to lead this hand-worn brand of country to the next generation."

Fuck yes! The best one I've heard from the new album so far.
his steel guitar guy is first rate !!
Whitey pays excellent tribute to Dale Watson. A couple if my favorites our there today.
This is absolutely killer!
He isn’t just an awesome musician, saving the greatest kind of music for the flint mi. Area multi faceted, fabricator, welder, and a great friend ….
I’m glad to hear you were invited to the opry!
He's underrated, which in this upside down world that's not surprising. In a sane world, he'd be played on every country station in America. Sadly, that status requires putting on the knee pads, and Whitey is not a cuck. Lol
It's like Waylon, Merle and Glen Campbell had a baby and I love it. Great tune.
Waylon would be proud of what you are doing! I love Your music!
Glad to know that real country still exists in 2018. Great job Whitey Morgan!
I DON'T KNOW NO BETTER! lmao You and the band, Cody, TN Jet, Ward and a handful of others are bringing REAL COUNTRY back! Love It! Can't wait to see ya all again live!
James Cook my favorite song on this album
It's probably mine as well...hits home a little too much...lol
Don't forget...BlackBerry Smoke...they're doing a GREAT GREAT JOB on their REAL COUNTRY SOUND" too!!!
Check out their cover of Yesterday's Wine with George Jones & Jamey Johnson...
Much love from Mobile Alabama.

One of my favorite Whitey Morgan songs!!
I'm sorry to say I just discovered Whitey Morgan & The 78's only a couple of years ago...I heard "Me & The Whiskey" on MY FAVORITE NEW SERIES...YELLOWSTONE...
I absolutely fell in love with this song & Whitey Morgan & The 78's...I've got over 25 of their song downloaded on my MP3 player.
I'M SO GLAD TO HEAR REAL COUNTRY MUSIC AGAIN!!!
Much love from Mobile Alabama
Love some whitey. I can really relate to this song.
Saw Whitey and the 78s back in November in Grand Rapids. One of the best concerts I have ever been too. Won’t hesitate to see them again.
I saw whitey live Friday night in Asheville NC. The same night this album came out. Damn It was by far the best live show I have seen. Thank you whitey for bringing us real country. I personally think you are the best thing to come along in many years.
One of the best covers in years
What's up, to everybody loving Whitey and jamming out. Thanks for posting.
STILL my favorite! 🎸🎹
Love his shows!
Last comment I said, I still don't know no better... Well, I don't but my daughter is my life so, whatever she wants, goes. Why I felt the need to tell random people this, I have no clue...maybe its the Wild Turkey 101! 😂
Good morning, fella
You don't look too good today
Your eyes are red, your skin is pale
You look like you could use a shave
Had a good time last night
Look at the price you had to pay
You'd think that you'd know better
Than to still be carryin' on this way
Crashin' into forty
Might better think about growing up
You got a wife and kid to lean on
Brother, are you strong enough?
Get down off your high horse
Ain't nobody listenin' to what you say
And you'd think that you'd know better
Than to still be carryin' on this way
Look at the gray
Stickin' out of your hair
Well you think you could take a hint
There's a reason Mother Nature put it there
While you're out there making more wrinkles
Your family's making more memories every day
And you'd think that you'd know better
Than to still be carryin' on this way
Crashin' into forty
Might better think about growing up
You got a wife and kid to lean on
Brother, are you strong enough?
Get down off your high horse
Ain't nobody listenin' to what you say
And you'd think that you'd know better
Than to still be carryin' on this way
Yeah you'd think that you'd know better
Than to still be carryin' on this way
Strikes a real hard note
My favorite part of this song is the part where Whitey talks about how the Rams suck and how badass Mahomes and the chiefs are
25 and already bout spent up.
Huh, 3 dislikes? Must be luke Bryan fans... 🤦♂️ #realcountry
