The Porsche is not the easiest car to habdle around Spa (or rather in general...). I am not sure about the setup which might not really be up-to-date anymore as well. However, thank you very much!

I heard that little gas input while turning helps car not to slide, but in video, without gas input, just smooth transition of trail braking and gas pedal was used in most corners.
Hello, I am glad that it helps you! In this case it was rather unintentionally I would say. The new Porsche does not require as much - if any - throttle input while coasting compared to its predecessor though as it does not rotate that aggressively. In general the Porsche will understeer once you hit the throttle due to its engine sitting in the back.

Hallo, sehr gerne! Ich schätze, dass die Profis mit dem aggressiven Standardsetup auf etwa eine Sekunde verglichen mit einem angepassten Setup herankommen. Der Porsche ist sicher nicht das am besten geeignete Auto zum Start. Aber einfach weiter dranbleiben, schneller wird man automatisch.

Ich fahre am liebsten Mustang und den 296 Ferrari aber bin ein Porsche Liebhaber. Dein Setup hilft mir sehr aber ich habe ein Problem mit dem Porsche und das habe ich auf so vielen Strecken. Z.B. nach der Camal Straight wenn ich hart bremse reagiert der waren super bis ich langsam die Bremse zum einlenken öffne und zack dreht er sich weg als hätte ich die Handbremse gezogen. 🤔 Kann ich da Setup mäßig etwas dagegen tun? Quasi von 10 runden klappt es 5 mal super und dann kommt der Dreher und ich fahre wie eine Oma in die Kurve hinein da das Vertrauen weg ist. Auch auf anderen Strecken nach extremen Bremszonen habe ich ähnliche Erfahrungen obwohl ich sehr sachte trail breaking mache😅
Hallo, das habe ich so noch nirgends gelesen. Der Porsche - speziell der alte und dieser hier auch kaum noch - tendiert zum Übersteuern in schnellen Kurven. In langsamen Kurven ist mir das noch nie zum Verhängnis geworden. Eine härtere Vorderachse (Federn, Stabilisator) sollte helfen, aber das macht den Wagen noch untersteuernder am Gas. Eine höhere Bremsbalance wäre ebenfalls einen Versuch wert.

@@Fri3d0lf Der neue Mc Laren wäre tatsächlich sehr nice. Den fahr ich neben dem Porsche am häufigsten. Auf gewissen Strecken fährt sich der besser - vor allem über eine Renndistanz. Wenn es sich nicht ausgeht, auch keine Thema - für drei Autos Setups bauen, beschäftigt ja auch schon ausreichend 😅
Der McLaren käme in Frage, wenn ich für die aktuellen Fahrzeuge bereits die LFM-Strecke gemacht habe. Ich muss aber gestehen, dass dieser sich für mrinen Geschmack icht allzu gut fahren lässt und zum Teil ein sehr komisches Fahrverhalten aufweist.
Hi. The middle part of the rougue, turning right. I have to be super precise. However i realized the one i struggle the most is the curve paul free. Sometimes i need to lift the throttle just a bit but i as i said, skill issue haha
Maybe the steering is too sensitive so that you turn too much. The Porsche always understeers as soon as you touch the throttle. Hence you might need to lift in some sections. It is a horrible balanced car...
Nope, absolutely no change to my lap time. I try all these settings and my times remain the same. I even tried one video showing a fast line through Spa. No change. I've tried three different settings now and all my lap times remain the same at 2:28*** You're telling me that by adjustments alone, I drop 10 seconds. First off, no damn way. That tells me immediately this is a game and "not" a simulator. Vehicle adjustments are used to shave 10ths and 100ths and sometimes only 1000ths off a lap time. I know I'm following a good line, The ONLY way I could go faster is with a car that has more HP. There's got to be something I am missing.
I am not sure who told you that a setup would gain you 10s all alone, only that it was not me for sure. However, you seem to have a massive distortion of perception thinking that your lap looks the same. Do not blame the game or anyone, but rather keep improving your driving.

I highly doubt that they have ever touched the track limits. You might not hit those sections exactly like ai do then supposedly. But that is not a big problem either, is it?

@@Fri3d0lf I guess he's thinking if it's still valid for v1.9.8? Because of this strange settings for dampers with bump settings to 0 and rebound settings to full what you will find in different other videos. But who knows...?

The lap time is shown at the end of the lap which means it is valid. 😅

Map 7 and 8 are qualifying maps for the Porsche which means they are the fastest to go with.

Yes, map 1 delivers less power. There is an overview available on the official Kunos forum if you search up for the ECU maps in ACC.

Do you refer to TC2? I have always turned that off as most people do. It is just the faster way to go and sometimes also the safer one.

Sure, but there have not been noteworthy updates so far. Hence the setup should still work the same as it did back then.
