I have these in my bedroom but my charger cord goes on and off and doesn’t charge unless I leave it in a certain position it’s so frustrating!!!
I’ve tried with another cord and same thing so I’m buying an actual APPLE iPhone cord just to see if that works..
    Any ideas???

Thanks for this. Can you perhaps put something up a video on the CLIPSAL / PDL ICONIC range of plugs and sockets? About to try and add a 4 way socket to replace a 2 way wall socket and the system looks quite different to the sockets you have shown. This is a popular range I understand. I also got some bluetooth dimmers...

Hey Dave, thanks for the video! I have a heated towel rail I want to remove, it's hardwired into the wall. I went to Bunnings to buy a faceplate for the socket as I no longer want it to be used. Is there a certain way I need to store the red black green cables? ( I will make sure the power is off) Thanks.

This video only shows one very simple *part* of their job, they charge a lot because they have to be capable of much more, like any educated tradesman. Screwdrivers are cheap but some of their other tools cost thousands - is your local handyman going to be able to verify your earth impedance setup? What about a three phase industrial supply?
I'm not a sparky but this is one of those areas where the more you learn, the more you realise how much you didn't know. It's very easy to understand 'just enough to be dangerous'. The good ones certainly earn their money.
