I truly appreciate how this season opened with the Wind and Serpent Hashiras. They are really cool characters with equally dope designs, I can't wait to learn more about them.
What the book was saying isn't that they have to be with tanjiro to activate their mark but that the first person in a generation to activate it causes a chain reaction

1) What Mitsuri said, "I wish I could crawl in a hole.", was the same as what Rengoku said when after he woke up on the train.
2) The Flame Hashira music stinger when they showed the fire hilt on Tanjirou's sword 😭
3) Giyuu still left after Daddyjima's clap shook the whole room. My man has no fear lol
Mitsuri trained under Rengoku to develop Love breathing, so it makes sense.

wasn't it already revealed why the Kobayashi family have the duty to fight and eliminate the demons, i'm not sure since it's been a long time since i've finished the manga so i don't know when things were revealed, but this information personally i don't think it's a spoiler and it's even so obvious that Makoto is related to Muzan because he's from the Kobayashi family and was the first demon, the family took the duty to eliminate the demons

Why do so many reactors think Muzan and Ubuyashiki are brothers? Not specifically you, but so many other reactors as well. I just don't get where they're coming from. Muzan is at least a thousand years old. Ubuyashiki is human. We know he's human because 1: he's dying, and 2: he has children. I've seen some people argue that Ubuyashiki could be something else other than human, but please, let's just be logical about this. The show has well established that there are only two kinds of beings in this world: humans and demons. To speculate on a mysterious 3rd kind of being despite absolutely no evidence for it is just all kinds of wrongheadedness.
