Yeah, that's it. You sometimes make a beat or a remix which you never took serious and that's what's gonna pop up and be a sick project for others. Just never stop making music. That's the goal - to make the world a better place to be.
Thank S1 for this glimpse into how you created "Bad Guy". I can already tell this short video is going to affect the way I approach projects in the future. Thanks Cymatics!
Music Production doesn't have to be a complicated process. If the elements fit and the lyrics fit, the rest is history. It can be the subtle sound in the background that could catch someone's attention, or it could be a sound that you don't hear but one time, and that listener might repeat that part a hundred times. And writing hooks can be a good thing too. And being in the room with someone that is great too but doesn't always have to happen. A person working in say France and a person working in Bahama's fire can happen and probably has. All and all the process if it works, it works.
The drum break looped throughout the first whole half of the song: ‘Bad Guy’ at (0:40) is sampled from the song: ‘Hocus Pocus’ by Walter Murphy (1974) You can find it on CZcams.
This guy is an absolute genius. Unfortunately he had a course once that is sadly closed but I wish the module video recordings were available at a price for people that still would like to learn.

Not bad at all, the last verse alone is very poetic as well, good production. In fact we are waiting for you, if this is trash we can see you in the limelight’s with hits soon then.

Dope track, my fav on mmlp2. The beat and the story telling go together really well, and the last verse is one of the greatest ever imo
