Black is great---sometimes. But sometimes black is puritanical. I prefer southwestern style "squaw" skirts/dresses with vibrant glowing multi-colors, tons of permanent pleats and a lot of metallic foil "ric-rac." IMO the only skirt anywhere fancier is either Indian Kathakali (men) or Egyptian Tanoura (also men).
You totally rock this outfit. I would lace the boots because I feel it looks more put together. It is an awesome skirt though.
