The Conversation That Never Happened - Identity, Sexuality & Freedom

Little did we know that behind those bright smiles and comical persona, Hirzi went through many painful moments that he kept from the public. In the Pride edition of Warmspace, Hirzi shared about the threat, harassment, and hateful speeches against him and despite all that choosing to act strong in public to stand for gay rights and people of color. Ivan went through his version of pain. Being Christian, gay, and a law student has brought a fair share of difficult conversations in his life. Yet, the most difficult conversation he had was the conversation that never took place with his mom after coming out.
