I haven’t thought about it till you brought it up. Looking at the dark space above my eyes, when I would wake up I would lay in bed with my eyes slightly open, pictures would flash across that dark screen as I will call it, though to rapid to get a lasting impression, but amazing.
Yes amazing ! i practice this myself. I call it a transitional phase between wakefulness and sleep where you might see vivid visual phenomena. @@laxahachygreens7289 Find a quiet area where you will not be disturbed. Sit comfortably with your back straight, breathe in through your nose for a count of four and out through your mouth for a count of six. The out breath longer than the in breath will slow your heart rate enough for you to sense some calmness. Concentrate on the path of the air. If outer thoughts come in, which they will, allow them to pass like a cloud going by and return to watching the path of the air. Honestly, if you will follow The School of Breath, you will attain the relaxation and calm you seek. Namaste

For years I have been doing meditation using the column of energy rising from the base chakra (1st of seven) upwards to my head. Once my meditation become steady and fully concentrated, I often see a bright circle of light betweeh my two eyes, which is my "third eye" which is the 6th chakra. Also at times, I see this light as a steady vertical colum rising from my base chakra.

There is a light source when I close my eyes, or even when I go to the toilet, which is especially dark and has zero light. above my head and slightly behind me. I don't know what to do with that light source.
